Ukrainian Killer Dolphins Deserted to Seek Mates, Says Expert

If you read all the way to the end...

A military source in Sevastopol told RIA Novosti last year that the Ukrainian navy had restarted training dolphins to attack enemy combat swimmers and detect mines. The killer-dolphins would be trained to attack enemy combat swimmers using special knives or pistols fixed to their heads, the source said.

And frickin' lasers?

Peta protests sc2's treatment of the zerg. Crazy bar has been raised.

I do not think I read what you think you read...

I think it is far more awesome they try to raise awareness to animal rights in a fun and self-denigrating way, than to throw graphic images of animal torture in the faces of unsuspecting tourists.

It's okay, they do both!

Maryland like New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I think has that drive right, pass left law. That is what I can see her getting the citation for. If it was windy like she claims why was she not in the right lane so she could easily pull over if it got even worse?

That's well and good, but the actual ticket says "driving below speed limit." If it were only a "failure to keep right" issue, the speed limit would have been irrelevant.

Also:

PETA—or, as we are renaming ourselves in honor of the expansion pack's launch, "Terrans for the Ethical Treatment of Zerglings"...

That's right, they're temporarily rebranding themselves as TETZ.

But, it says "Failure of driver driving below speed limit 63 in a 65 to keep right."

Granted, the wording is awkward, but I think it gets the point across-- that she was moving too slow in the fast lane and failed to keep to the right. If there were a couple commas in there, I don't think this would be an issue...

"Failure of driver, driving below the speed limit (63 in a 65), to keep right." Perhaps the ticketing software needs to include commas and parentheses...

Yeah. The ticket, regardless of what the "clueless" attention seeking newscasters would have you believe, was for failing to move right. The bit about speed limit and speed she was driving at, was only to demonstrate and justify why she should've moved right.

I'm sorry you have a headache, honey.

Don't worry, I know just the thing to fix it

Scientists bring back extinct frog species. They called it the Lazarus project. I kept thinking about ME2.

They actually didn't have the complete genetic code for the frog, so they had to splice in some velociraptor DNA to fill in the gaps.

What could go wrong?

Nothing. It's brilliant.

Wolf tries to rip woman's throat out. Woman pushes wolf off and drives herself to hospital after making sure the people she stopped to help were OK. Welcome to Canada people!

Are you sure she's Canadian? I don't see anything about apologizing to the wolf.

Seems more like Aussie behavior.

Wouldn't that be "Woman tries to rip wolf's throat out, toss on barbie"?

If she was Australian the wolf would have succumbed to the poison seconds after biting her.

I'm not too certain of its entertainment value, but I just discovered that The Ononeon exists... Onion-flavored stories that are all real!

That was both dreadful and wonderful. There's probably a word for it in German.

Yes, the Germans are wonderful for coming up with words for these kinds of concepts, aren't they?
