Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find EBGames information, or the link to where I can find the information of the job, and where I can apply. I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in a couple of months and I wanted to see if I had a chance at working there and if someone could maybe help me find information on ebgames and where on their site I can apply.
I have tons of gaming experience, I wish to take this job so I can meet new people and upgrade my speaking skills. If you can help please do.
Thank you.
Edit: I'm in Canada
I have no idea if this is spam or not but why not call your local EB Games and ask them directly if they are hiring?
I'm too nervous myself to do it
P.s It's not spam :c
I was able to find an application @ https://gamestopcareerscorp.silkroad..., but it's for GameStop, and the US. I think if you want an application for EBGames you'll have to walk into the store and ask for one. Think of it as step one in the application process.
The Konami Code taught me everything I need to know about sex.
Dress nicely but not too nicely (no suit but a tie couldn't hurt). Be polite and personable. Shake hands, make eye contact, smile.
This is a customer service job so go in there acting professionally and you'll set yourself apart from the hundreds of other kids your age looking to score the same gig.
And this is the strangest first post I have ever seen.
Alright fine, you are legit then (hehe). I remember getting my first job. You are right to be nervous. The best I can tell you is to get over it If you are good with games and know a lot about current games and such then I don't think you have much to worry about. My first job was as a computer technician. I knew what I was doing and felt confident about my ability. It still was a very nerve-wracking thing to have to get the job in the first place though. What's the worst that can happen? They say no thanks. At least you maybe got yourself an interview and know more about what to expect. As for a resume, I am not sure what is expected if it's your first job but maybe put something together with your strengths? I'm sure someone else could provide more information about this.
Good luck!
Thanks!

Ah, that's for the united states, but thanks anyways

Spoiler:
Oh yes, and that job is going to be for very little money and suck. But hey, you're in high school. All high school jobs suck.

Alright, Jeans, Dress shirt and tie
But, how is this the strangest first post you've ever seen?
It's really simple
Wait, is it possible that Elysium has had a space-time jump to his 15 year old self and the only proto-memories he retains are of EB and GWJ?
Posting on the boards is easy. The trick is to kick someone's ass the first day, or become someone's %^*&. Chiggie Von Richthofen on how to transition from lurker to poster.
Oh no. Jeans and tie is a bad idea. Where's Dapper Dan (Minarchist) when he's needed?
I wouldn't advise you to dress much more formally than the manager of the place you'd like to work at. Wearing your father's tie with jeans to EB Games to ask for a job application would be like wearing a tuxedo and converses to an interview at most offices.

No jeans!
Never jeans!
You're asking for help on applying to a job. Most first posts here are about a specific game, the podcast, or the Steam group. I wouldn't be surprised if weclock's first post was weirder, but he's a cautionary tale, not a role model.
Also, don't worry about editing out the stuff in the brackets [ ] , it will start working the way it's supposed to in a few weeks, and all your old posts will look right. It's disabled on new accounts to help against spam.

It's the doing of EvilShawnAndrich! I'm certain of it!

But that guy can't even construct sentences properly! "Suggest me", indeed!
