Too late for me too. My work week starts tomorrow at 5 am, so I have to be up at 4.

It might be a good idea to promote some people who play "non-standard hours" to officer so they can start bounties.

More people = better regardless.

For what it's worth, for tonight's bounty I don't think we need to engage in anything more than incidental pre-scouting (badferret seems to be a pro at finding the forstgorge NPC). Pre-scouting seems extremely tedious. With the amount of time we have until guild treks are available and the rate at which we are gaining influence, I am more than comfortable in trying and failing a few times within an hour and having a good time doing it (at a cost of 200 influence a pop), rather than spending 60-90 tedious minutes trying to setup one successful hunt.

For this evening it would be ideal to have 3 lead teams, one per bounty zones. These teams should be L80ish with most waypoints. Everyone else can then pitch in to the zone where they feel they will be most helpfull. Should be a good time.

Any of he officers are more than welcome to run bounties at any time. Running a tier 1 bounty could be possible with a team of 5 if you get lucky (some of the bounties are really easy to find).

Likewise if if you play at a certain time and you know others who play at that time havent had the chance to get a bounty kill, feel free to trigger a bounty and hunt one of the NPCs.

NOTE: you can get the bounty kill reward regardless of the success of the overall hunt. The reward is 50s, 2 commendations, and 2 rare (maybe one exo item). I would like everyone in the guild to get a shot at this reward that wants it. To that end I think it would be acceptable at the end of the week to fire off a Tier 3 bounty or two (they give you 6 hunts) just to give people a shot at killing one of the bounty NPCs.

Any thoughts on this?

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Maybe we could establish some sort of calendar that lists all the members' usual play windows? ..figure out who's on when to make it easier to plan events that cater to the folks that don't rock the NA primetime.

Great job on the Tier 2 bounty tonight everyone, hectic, tense. That was fun.

This is the most exciting part to me. We fill up dungeon teams fast during prime hours and have to leave people out, so it's great that these events let us include everyone.

I agree, and I'm very anxious to see what the other guild challenges shape up to be like.

I think we did very well yesterday, but there are still a few kinks to work out obviously. Having each of the 3 team leaders coordinate on Vent would have made things quite a bit easier.

Also I'm wondering if it would make more sense to have everyone spike down found bounties together at first so we can have more people swarming the zones looking for those that aren't found.

For those of you who haven't had the chance to chase down a bounty target yet. Please let an officer/leader know. The reset for bounty rewards occurs on Saturday with the daily, so Friday evening and Saturday-day may be great times to just launch a few tier 3 bounties so people have as good a chance as any to get individual rewards (guild commendations are sweet).

I agree. Especially now that I know about the 5mins/bounty limit once triggered.

Ideally our pattern would be that everyone spreads out among all 15 zones to find the potential bounties. (this is optional but can be done by guildies waiting around for the bounty to start, putting a priority on bounties with large/elaborate routes)

Then we trigger the event, quickly figure out which of the active bounties have already been found and which are still undiscovered. We order the bounties(located ones going first) and call out the first one. each located bounty should have one guildie leading them close to a waypoint and keeping them there with small talk... everyone else jumps to that first target.

Once it's down, on the next, rinse repeat.

I wouldnt harp on this one too much. I think the way we did it where people find whatever they find incidentally as we setup and get organized is probably the nice happy middle for us as a guild.

ya we don't need to set time aside for it or make sure to have them all before starting..

but some players are going to be standing around for a while, waiting until the mission is launched.. might as well scout

We did find that the path for Blazeridge Steppes on the website was wrong. All the pathing they showed was east of the Scar but we found the target West of the Scar.

Not sure which map you were looking at Zeke, but the Dulfy one shows that path covers the whole damn zone.

Plus Dulfy says this:

Super Important: Sometimes Tricksy Trekksa will appear off her path and can be found on the west portion of the zone. So have someone check the entire western section as well in addition to her path.

So it is entirely possible that Tricksy has two separate paths.

She was on the other side of Deserter Flats when someone finally found her. I will admit that I didn't read the note about the path being incomplete, and just looked at the map. That said, that map they do have isn't very helpful if you also have to check the entire western portion of the map as well.

Yeah, the bounty thing has sort of kept me from playing. I feel like if I'm going to play, I need to go make sure I have all the zones, and that if I don't have the zones, I shouldn't be playing wvw until I have all the zones...and since I've limited myself to X number game hours a week until I get back in the swing of stuff happening in real life, I just haven't played, cause I feel too guilty about not working up the interest in exploring.

You're over thinking this, having all the zones certainly helps, but plenty of people have helped without having them all.

I can attest to that, not having the zone my group went to, still got to the bounty guy in time to fight.

All you need to do is to kill one of the targets to get the personal reward. People who don't have the whole map explored are why I think we should kick off at least one tier 3 per week, even if we don't think we're likely to complete it. The chances of people having at least one of the 6 zones we'll get is much better.

Agreed, and there should be two tier 3 bounties ready to fire for that purpose by this evening. I might not be around until later this evening so feel free to fire it off if there are people around who would benefit.

It'll have to be someone else kicking it off, I just started my work week yesterday so won't get much of a chance to play anything until Thursday.

From yesterday's patch notes:

Guesting players will now be eligible for personal bounty completion rewards for foreign chapters of their guild.

*Guesting players will be able to start Guild Content for foreign chapters of their guild as long as a guild member from the host world is present in the map with them.

So now our Lost Souls can join us on NSP for bounties!

They can now double join!

Seriously, I'm a bit more active and want to play with people. If you see me online, I'm now in the level 45. So anything under I haven't done, I'm game!

If this was true, I would not do the bounties. Just get atleast one waypoint into every zone, if this is bothering you, and you will be ok. Remember this is fun! Do what you have the most fun doing.

And don't forget to make liberal use of Asura gates, including the one from Divinity's Reach to Ebonhawk. I would guess you could unlock at least one waypoint in all the non-Orr zones in about the time it would take to run a lap around a borderland or two.

Alright. Lets aim for another tier 2 bounty. Same time as last week Wednesday the 13th (tomorrow) at 22:00h EST.

I'm going to miss it tonight.

That was fun last night. Glad I was able to hop on.

Great job last night. Managed to nail our tier 2 bounty on the first try.

I still haven't managed to do a bounty. 2200 is 10pm eastern, yes...so, 9pm cst? I'll do my best to get on this Wednesday, but that's bedtime around these parts, so it's a wishful promise.
