Saw this on Imgur and I'm afraid I still don't get it.
(If you have the dragon balls, you can wish the person back to life.)
YOU DON'T HAVE THE DRAGON BALLS TO DEFEAT ME!
If you collect all seven magic dragonballs (each with a number of stars inside corresponding to which ball it is) you can summon Shenlong the dragon to you who will grant you one wish. That wish may include bringing a person back from the dead once. Now, the dragon in the Namek dragonballs can bring a person back more than once and grant more than one wish. You know you're summoning him because his dragonballs are much larger in size. However, he only speaks Namek, so you'd better have a Namek around to translate. Once your wish is made, the dragonballs scatter all over the planet and look like ordinary rocks for one year, until they resume their appearance and can be sought for if you have a dragonball locator available at any Capsule Corp. store.
I didn't know that was the backstory for Dragon Ball. I kinda like that, actually.

I thought it was about angry constipated people who yell a lot.
Also, I like that The One Girl in that comic is clearly not having any of it.
Are dragon balls anything like truck nuts?

That's Dragonball Z. The early Dragonball series was about a kid with a monkey's tail named Goku and a young woman named Bulma who travels with him to find the dragonballs. They prevent warlords from making their wishes and after a year, Goku always looks for the #4 dragonball because it was given to him by his adopted grandpa named Gohan and being that Goku is quite a simple creature, he actually calls it his grandpa and tells it about his day and such (he'd been alone for a long time ever since his grandpa died). He lived out in the wilderness and Bulma found him by tracking the dragonball.
In Dragonball Z, they can destroy planets.
Damn. The original Dragonball is not on netflix. I recall it being remarkably skeezy and campy at times.
Darwin's keeping his theory under wraps, but when it releases we'll have all the details on NaturalPhilosophySpot! Will it be a Lamarck-killer? Let us know in the comments!
Darwin will be announcing all the details of his new theory this year at the World Wide Darwinist Conference. The new theory is rumored to be thinner and lighter with an extra row of species. However, word is that it won't be backward compatible with previous Creationist generations.

SuperDaE has already leaked confirmation that were will be no BC.
Edit: Grain of salt for all leaks, of course.

Sometimes they bump into each other.
Neither one said "Try to take over the world", and for that they are horrible.

I bought and watched all season 2 yesterday, so words fail me when it's time to say how much this pic made my day.

The "So many holes to dragon" one? Which one of you was it?
Wait, did our Dragon/Car thing hit the big time, or did it start somewhere else and migrate here?

I dunno, the dragon/car thing came with weclock, and who knows where he got it from.
As this NSFW Or Sanity exists, I think perhaps another GWJ meme has grown beyond these digital walls. Like Stengah said, it started around here with weclock, but he was the only person I ever heard of that was into such an extreme & extremely bizarre niche fantasy-- so I'm going with "It Started Here!"

I dunno, the dragon/car thing came with He who shall not be named!, and who knows where he got it from.

He's a member I don't really miss at all. Saying your intention was to rape someone has a kind of chilling effect on open discourse.
Dragon/car was a Reddit thing brought over to here.
Back to that car though - if I were a dragon I think I would have unnatural impulses for it too. That's one fantastic looking machine.

Wasn't 4chan doing the whole meme thing before Reddit?
