I really need to get back into this - however I would have to start from ground zero...
Are we on for 9est as usual? Or are we aiming for something earlier like we had been talking about?

If you are getting back in, and ever had characters on Orien, they are probably still there. The game is fairly forgiving in that manner.
Also, I think I have one character slot left open, if you and Arovin/his brother are starting back from low levels.
Sorry all, worked late and didn't get home till almost 7. Spending some time with my wife then have vendor maintenance, so won't be on tonight. Thursday night is Valentine's day as well as my wedding anniversary, so yah, I'll see y'all next week.
Given they need maintenance, Valentine's day is a good day for taking it down; hopefully this will fix the sporadic lag issues that kept coming up.
That may be enough to get me playing again.
I have a work function tomorrow night and then vendor maintenance Tuesday night, hopefully will be back in game on the 28th.
Thanks for the fun last night! Dwarfs can't jump....
What level does a character need to be to run with the group?
Rolled up a monk and got him to level 3. Haven't played in a couple years, and am enjoying some of the new features/enhancements.

We have a couple of groups going, on around 7-9ish and one 12-15ishI am planning on working on a level 7 rogue tonight and this weekend. I could start it at level 4 if you would like and help you level up some.
Arovin,
Not sure how that would affect your rogue, but if you are willing, then I am game as well.
I will be on late tonight, and then over the weekend as well. Character name is Moburu

Thanks for taking the time to help me get re-familiarized with the game last night Arovin!

If anyone doesn't have it yet, the expansion is on sale on Steam for $17.50 right now, which I think if the lowest it's ever been. I really would like to actually get to play some of the high-level content one of these days. (Also, looks like I'm in for tomorrow, barring further unforeseen technical difficulties).
I have maintenance tomorrow night, so I won't be on.
Strongly considering giving this another go. I played around with it in the olden days, and I literally don't even know what characters I have, what their levels are, or what servers they're on. Assuming I'm able, I'll be happy to look you all up.
I am dumb and didn't realize there was a patch. It's going real slow...

Awesome, you are more then welcome to join us. I hope to have enough people on to attempt a raid again at some point.
I am jumping on now to play. I am sick and a little dopey from Dayquil, hopefully I will last long enough to get to play for the whole session. If I am out of it tonight you know why.
Also, there is a 30% boost on guild renown active right now.
I made a brand-new cleric last night and, after remembering how to play, levelled him all the way up to...level 1! I suppose level 1.6 is more accurate. I ran a couple of the newb missions with "open group" on and, heck, a couple of random players showed up and killed stuff with me.
All in all, it was a good first night. I admit that the Steam offer of the expansion for half-price ($18) is tempting, since it has the druid class, a greater tome of learning (+50% XP on first completion of a mission) and the ability to make characters at level 4 right off the bat. It also has a few adventure packs. The way I see it, even if I just play a few hours a week, $18 is pretty cheap entertainment.
Spron,
I recently started up late last week. After running around with Arovin on his elite missions, I am level 7, with a Chronoscope raid under my belt! While I cant open things on elite on my own, and have broken the super streak, I am still having fun running various missions.
I haven't bought the expansion pack either, but am tempted as well. I do not run DDO via steam, but the notice on steams states you must have the original game on steam to run the expansion. That is the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger; guess I will need to look into it more.
Look me up if you need help with anything, I'm playing a Monk called Moburu.

I also think the offer for the expansion on Steam gives like 1000 TP, which isn't much but it's more than zero.
