Being Human

Anyone else watching this SyFy show. It's actually not bad.

Its better than the British version it is based off of. Haven't seen this week's episode yet though.

Yeah I like it. The UK version has gone down hill fast but the US version is pretty good.

I think the werewolf dude is the most sympathetic character. Though you just want him to catch a break just once.

I haven't watched the US version, but the first couple of seasons of the UK one are great.

I liked the first few seasons of the UK but it was very inconsistent on powers. In one episode a single human easily takes down Aidan. In another episode Aidan kills a bus full of people. They kept breaking their own rules, it was like different writers didn't bother bother watching past episodes.

There isn't a character called Aidan in the UK show, do you mean Mitchell? And do you mean when he took out the train? Because he was in the middle of a bloody frenzy at that point and he had help.

I'm wary of any American remake of British shows, as they don't have a great track record, only one that is any good that I can think of is The Office. Less said about The Inbetweeners (really? you are just going to copy all the scripts? what is the point in that? meant as well just show the British show), Red Dwarf, Life on Mars (oh dear lord the ending), Coupling ect

The actor's name is Aidan. It's easy to get confused since they named the vampire character in the US version Aidan Waite after the actor from the UK version.

Also, I dunno why I haven't jumped in here yet. Being Human (US) is my only Must Watch program.

So, does anyone see

Spoiler:

Josh having to go back to being a werewolf in order to kill purebred Liam? I think once he finds out Liam killed Erin, it's a done deal and he'll have Nora re-infect him somehow.

The US show reeks of angst and overdone drama. Is the UK one the same way?

Oh yeah. Big time.

Well... good episode this week. Lots of interesting stuff going down. As I suspected

Spoiler:

Josh is gonna be a wolf again. Honestly though, anyone not see that coming? Not quite how I expected it to happen though. And now Sally's turning into a proper zombie bit by bit, what with the decomposition and the whole thing with her eating the raw meat out of the fridge. And now Aidan's been infected with the virus.

Bad things happening all OVER the damn place this week.

That and underwear ghosts.

Spoiler:

Actually, wouldn't they be more of a ghoul? Since her and the other guy that came back(can't remember his name) have to eat flesh, cats in his case to survive/not decompose.

Spoiler:

I wonder if they are going to make Josh kill Liam now?

That would probably be more of an accurate description. This makes me wonder what's going on with what'shisface, the kid that got resurrected with them as well.

That's Stevie I think his name was and now I am remembering the other guy is Noah maybe?

Dang, I came into this thread expecting a metaphysical debate lol.

Or did you?

Well the British version finished tonight. And I can safely say it was a brilliant ending (huge spoiler next, seriously do not read if you are watching the British version or planning to)

Spoiler:

So yeah the Devil won and the world ended.

Okay, let me just say that I love Pete the vegetarian werewolf. I hope they bring him back again!

And next week, Stevie comes back! I knew they'd get back to that little loose end sooner or later.

I wonder if the ending signals a Boston area Zombie Apocalypse.

I think the teaser for next week kind of spoiled what happened in that last sequence of this week's episode.
