Great to hear the ongoing awesome news, ian!

So scans happened today. No new cancerous masses were visible, and what was there is all either stabilized or has shrunk. I'm going back for an MRI on Thursday, as there's one mass in my pelvic area that needs that for better analysis re:further treatment, but the long and short of it for the moment seems to be that I'm winning. I'm attributing a big part of the ass-kicking to what you fine folks have given me since that fateful August day.

As always, more when I know more, and thanks again for being such a hellaciously supportive community.

Niiiiice. Well, glad to hear some good news! I'm sure it helps a lot to keep your spirits up.

Great news! Hope the one mass is easily treatable and gone quickly.

Hurrah! So glad to hear the good news

Excellent report! I'm beside myself with happy over your new apartment and roommate, and your excellent test results!! Rock on!!

I'm looking forward to another round of BBQ chicken someday. Keep getting better!

Awesome news man. We'll be able to have the second bike and tickle in no time.

So glad to hear that things are looking positive, and responding well to treatment.

Yes!!

Joining the choir. Really happy for you, Ian. Glad things are looking up for you!

Ian, that's awesome news, so glad to hear it. Keep positive, and let's go hunting next month!

Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!

Glad to hear things are going well. One day at a time but so glad for news of positive progress for you.

Following with great interest. So glad it's going well!

So the good news keeps coming! My oncologist just phoned to tell me that yesterday's MRI revealed the thing observed in my pelvic region during my CT scans isn't a tumor, but rather an accumulation of ascites fluid that just showed up weird on the scans. That makes a lot of sense, as the shape observed was very odd for a tumorous mass (round with a big hole in the middle). Better still, this means I ultimately have less cancer than we thought.

Also plotting with my boss for a return to work in approximately two weeks. The skeptic in me is even tempted to buy a lottery ticket for grins. Really, I don't know of too much that would make this week better.

That's awesome Ian!

I love this. Love it. Enjoy, man.

Great news! Must be weird that in a few weeks life would go back to normal, sorta...
