Steam Winter Sale 2012 - Seriously Guys, It Was Over Two Months Ago! Move Along!

Damn saw all the unread posts and thought some sale was going on I didn't know about. Nope just a bunch of weird posts.

Any game picked must be Steamplay, so the Mac brethren can be shafted gifted as well.

I hate the word "lover" when talking about your significant other... hate it so hard.

Alright fine. Sexual intercourse partner it is.

I usually go with the term 'f*ck puppet'. Makes first impressions introducing the wife a bit awkward at times, but you get that.

I used to love her, Oo, yeah
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Oo, yeah
But I had to kill her
I knew I'd miss her
So I had to keep her
She's buried right in my backyard
Oh yeah, Oo yeah, whoa, oh yeah

I don't think that's... pony enough.

Maybe he used too many monkeys?

It should be the thought behind the gift that counts.

I nominate this game. Click Me!

It's Chillingo so it's probably adorable and pretty good.

Too bad they don't have Garbage Truck Simulator on Steam. That would win hands down.

You're probably right. I'm wasting my time occasionally with Pixel People sometimes, and it's pretty adorable.

EDIT: Also, I feel pretty awful about not having time to actually post much on the forums. School keeps me really really busy... My film will be done in April, so hopefully, I can come back...

We've held a vote on kicking you out for lack of posting. Final count isn't in yet but it's not looking good.

That's not 100% true.

SparklePonies was a game no one wanted to own, but if you tried it out....it was actually a decent game.

That's the joke.

No idea what the next season's game would be, but something like Cherry Hill High Comedy Club, or Fairy Bloom Fresia might fit the bill.

But I have to finish school so I can be a gamer with an actual job... Surely, my absence can be overlooked.

FTFY, and to add to the weirdness.

See if we make it a good game that nobody wants than why not Euro Truck Simulator 2 if it goes on sale. It's as close to a garbage truck simulator as you can get but it's not too bad, I mean this guy played it for an hour and a half unironicly... sort of.

This video is surprisingly entertaining.

I love simulators, but that one I could never get into...because the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Is there an option for non-UK vehicle conventions?

Also, do you ever have to avoid deer or anything?

Skip to 7 min: "And now we're on our way."

Skip ahead: "Do I go down any lane I want? Calais... Is that a train? Oh my god, we're getting on a train?"

Skip ahead: "I've got myself right on a bloody little hill, haven't I."

Alright, I was going to play Dishonored tonight, but forget it, I'm watching this now.

When you buy a truck, you have the option for right or left side drive. If you're interested, you can download and demo the full game from them which has some cities, trucks, and roads removed, I believe, until you buy and unlock the full game.

I'd pick it up, but I'd need a heck of a sale. So far the demo is enough for me.

Sold! On the demo. Which means the part of me that likes Gears of War and Quake just died a little.

Hey, here's the Truck Simulator topic! http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/1...

Heaven help me, I watched the entire 96 minute video.

That video wasn't long enough.

Me too! Hilarious guy + great game = time well spent.

Downloaded the demo too: I'd play a lot more if my computer could run it (and I had a controller).

Oh yeah, the transmission select screen is well-done. Put me in my place. Is LiquidMantis playing ETS2?

Hey! How did I become the group's simulator guy? There are a few dorks around here. Currently iRacing is my addiction though.

LM, go look at your racing setup again. Soak it in for a moment and then protest again, with a straight face, that you're not the biggest racing sim dork on the site. I'll wait.

Sparkle Ponies was definitely not a decent game.

Wait, ETS2 has proper triple screen support?! *queues up download*

He said it wasn't decent. That could mean it's amazing...
