Video Game Deals Catch-All

Amazon's running an end of February sale with a one use per customer code for an extra 25% off: "CAGROCKS".

I've not had a chance to peruse all the sales, but it seems several of the deals aren't as good as they have been before.

I did see Dead Space 1&2 for $8, and then 25% off looks on top of that would be pretty good.

Max Payne 3 is there for $14.99, dropping down to $11.25. Tempting....

Nice, I used it to finally pick up the Borderlands 2 Seasons Pass for $16.87

Steam has the Gratuitous Space Battles Complete Pack for £3.49 ($4.74) - DLC is usually £3.99-£4.99 each.

Pack includes:
- Main Game
- The Nomads DLC
- The Order DLC
- The Swarm DLC
- The Tribe DLC
- Galactic Conquest DLC

I got the main game in a bundle and enjoyed it and I've been meaning to pick up the DLC for a while but it was always too expensive to buy them individually, this seems perfect.

Isn't GSB Free To Play this weekend too? Like you, I already had the base game from a bundle, but it's silly to not re-buy just to get all the DLC for so cheap. Wish I could gift off the "spare" copy of the base game

Apparently all the DLC I'm missing is The Nomads and Galactic Conquest. I remember reading that the Galactic Conquest mode was kinda half-baked. Did that ever improve with patches, or is it worth skipping that one?

Resident Evil 6 for PC preorder is $32.00 at GMG with the GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS code.

Or for a cheaper and more enjoyable experience, send me $20 and I'll scream at you over the phone for an hour.

Where's the 'favorite' button?

Because 'favorite'.

On some social network which shall remain nameless, you can press the "like" button. So I definitely "like" this (I literally lol'ed).

Also, Plants Versus Zombies is free in the App Store this week.

There are no favorites, only quotes.

I'll read a chapter of Harry Potter to you for only $19. No codes required.

It's iPad only. I'm hoping they put out an iPhone version.

Preordered Bioshock Infinite yesterday from Green Man Gaming - they offer $17 cash back on purchase, so I used it immediately to get the season pass for $2.99.

Then I get an email this morning - they've thrown in the original Bioshock for free, as well as a choice of a second game (Spec Ops: The Line, Civilization V, BioShock 2, Mafia II or The Darkness II)... not bad.

And the season pass is now 5% off. I got it for $2.

Coincidentally just before they put the pre-order benefits up on steam.

i'm assuming the GMG Bioshock infinite code unlocks on Steam?

You're assuming correctly. They usually send out their keys in time to pre-load.

Just a note to this, I bought the "Complete Pack" and loaded the game up and there are 2 DLC's not included:

- The Parasites (75% off - £1.12)
- The Outcasts (Not on sale - £4.49)

Yeah, can't decide between $2 DLC and free XCom.

Yeah, can't decide between $2 DLC and free XCom.

The Steam one comes with a bunch of TF2 items that'll likely be worth something in that community.

Wait...up to 75%? But some are higher? Than why not say "up to 85%?"

Though, right now, that's showing as not unlocked yet. (Much less the free copy of XCOM.) The promise is that if enough people preorder, those and unspecified other bonuses will be added.

Steam hasn't used that kind of gimmick before, right?

They did, with Xcom and giving away Civ V iirc.

War of the Roses is $5 on Amazon for "2 days" and you may be able to use the CAGROCKS code for an additional 25% off.

It's a fun game and you can play the starting classes for free at any time with the demo.
