I am all for a Demolition Man level of suspended animation or deep hibernation.

I'd be cool with that, for sure. Virtual death but not literal is okay by me.

You may remember a week or so ago when I posted that I was single again. Well I just found out that my girlfriend (at the time) slept with one of my best friends. So I'm flipping sh*t over here.

Maybe you should let your now ex-friend know he should get tested. If you refer to her as Chlamydiot, I will be pleased.

Fu*k man. Flip sh*t, but be smart about it. Don't do anything that you'll regret. Those fu*kers aren't worth it.

Sorry for sharing too much

Planned on spending the evening playing the new AC3 DLC while my wife is out. Can't figure out where she put the disc when we were cleaning the other day :/

I don't know about you, but I always continue to look for something after I've found it.
Really though, it's meant as shorthand for "the last place you'd think it would be."

Extremely small medical bills that I have to call a person to make a payment.

You'd think, at some point, you'd just cut your loses after insurance pays 98% instead of chasing after the patient for a bill for $2. Strongly considering a USPS flat rate box filled with pennies...

Ooh, this is awkward.

Rejection letters from art shows I've been doing for years. WTF. All these new jewelry designers need to get out and let me have my booths back.

I will literally cover the cost of shipping if you do that.

When the one billing person finally called me back, she was also laughing about my $2 bill.

No Bioshock Infinite for me. My dog developed a still-unidentified health problem last week that involved an x-ray and other things at the vet, costing me $300 I don't have. In the non-loathe department, the vet let me split up the bill into multiple payments. But that just means no new games next month either.

I'll live.

I wish I knew what was really wrong with Jette, though.

Sick pooch. That sucks.

Spirit Airlines. Just aweful. Flight out to Tampa, 4 loaded assholes behind us, a mom zonked on anbian and Bartles & James forward. Fligt out today was cancelled for "mechanical problems." The ticket was purchased for me, but Spirit sucks floppy diseased warty horse dick. Stay away.

Stay away from the airline because of specific passengers?

If you had a Kindle, then you could read them on just about anything else with a screen until you find it, or can afford to replace it.

Assuming the Nook works similarly, but I don't know what other E Ink readers do.

Loathe: bills.

Taxes. More specifically, realizing you might have done things wrong for the last two years

After waiting for months to see if Intel SSD's would be in stock in Singapore, I finally broke down and purchased an OCZ SSD for my primary PC. A month after I installed it, the drive completely died this morning - not even detected in BIOS. This is exactly what happened when I purchased my first OCZ SSD about 3 years ago, which it makes it even more frustrating.

Luckily, I have full backups of my data and a OS backup with Acronis True Image so once I have the new SSD I should be up & running pretty quickly. Still freakin' annoying though.

That sucks. I've had 3 OCZ SSD's that have been going strong for years at this point.

So my mother posted this on facebook:

Wow after reading about apps and permissions, I do not know that I will ever use apps. I am glad that I am so security based. It's crazy and so dangerous.

Yeah, because the Safeway app is going to go making calls to China using her phone. She calls it being "security based," I call it rampant paranoia.

The other OCZ SSD that I own is running fine for the last couple of years (after the initial RMA). It's just a tad annoying that I seem to be in this weird trend of having to RMA an SSD from OCZ before I'll get a working drive.

Ack! Sorry to hear. This is why I now have a "tax guy". Despite making me feel cool that I'm important enough for a tax guy, I know I can completely trust that things are done right. And if things aren't done right it's completely on him and not me.

Had a unpleasent suprise on my taxes this year. Found out the new company I'm working for is taking about 40% out for taxes of what my last company was taking out. As a result, I have to pay the government about 1/2 of the amount I normally got back with my previous employer.

What? US wants aspartame in milk?
