Best Buy is advertising Bulletstorm for $2. It's preowned, and probably depends on in-store availability.

Still, if you haven't played Bulletstorm, get off your lazy butt and find a copy!

Played it on the PC and loved it. $2 is an instant double-dip for me.

I've been on the fence, but hearing its a pretty tight shooter and only $2 got me to pull the trigger. Looks like I've got a detour to make on the way home.

Had to cancel because they sold the last in-store copy after my order had gone through but before they pulled it from the shelf. Closest stores that still had a copy were over an hour away, so I'd wind up spending more in time and gas than I paid for the game.

30% off all Ubisoft Wii U games on the eShop.

ZombiU – $59.99 to $41.99

Assassin’s Creed III – $59.99 to $41.99

Just Dance 4 – $49.99 to $34.99

Rabbids Land – $49.99 to $34.99

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved – $49.99 to $34.99

ESPN Sports Connection – $49.99 to $34.99

Huh, apparently Best Buy is selling ALL their pre-owned PS2 and PSP games for just a dollar each?!?

PSP - http://bit.ly/VBIaET
PS2 - http://bit.ly/WSAqwo

(via the Geek Cheaply Twitter Feed.)

I has a sad. None available for shipping, the closest BB to me is a good half hour drive away... and none of the titles seem to be available there anyway. Le sigh.

The first 30-60 minutes seems like a generic shooter, but don't be fooled.

I swung by Best Buy last night. There were some kids camping the console in the center of their pre-owned games section so I didn't look too closely. No signs or tags or anything advertising the sale. The only game I saw that interested me was a copy of Gods Eater Burst for the PSP, which really kind of surprised me. I know the game's easy to get but you don't expect to see something so obscure at a Best Buy. I already own two copies (long story) so I didn't bother asking any employees about the sale.

Would you pay $2 for Brink? No? How about $0?

Free Brink at Newegg.

...still no?

Mail-in rebates are the devil's work!

I would have to pay tax in New Joisey.

Especially mail in rebates that only give you store credit, and not an actual check.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Save $20 if you buy both versions which I am going to do so I can play it on the WiiU and the 3DS.

We had fun with it when it released for a few months on and off. But yeah, I'd imagine it's a ghost town at this point.

Yeah, that first 30 minutes is a slog. It's like a giant QTE tutorial. Thought I was recording an episode of Loading, Ready, Run's Unskippable with how much QTE there was.

Then you get the leash, and things get fun. I've spent more on iOS games that I've played less, so there's that, right?

Already got it during the Bethesda NYE sale on Gamersgate. Now I can't buy it for free. You guys don't know how hard we have it in this country.

Was trolling through my Amazon wish list, and noticed that both Dishonored and XCOM: Enemy Unknown have dropped in price to below $40 on consoles and shipping direct from Amazon.

speaking of XCOM, GMG are running 60% off right now, potentially the 20% code works with it too, but I haven't checked.

Whoa -- AirBuccaneers is now in the Groupees Be Mine Anniversary Bundle. That means you can buy the game for as little as one dollar. Bundle ends February 27th.

Edit: Full bundle game list:

Minimum $1
- Eschalon Book II (Steam)
- iBomber Defense Pacific (Steam)
- Livalink (Greenlight)
- Party of Sin (Steam)
- Major Mayhem
- AirBuccaneers (Steam)
- Dungeons: The Dark Lord (Steam)

Minimum $5
- Men of War: Assault Squad (Steam)
- Two Worlds 2 (Steam)
- Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes (Steam)
- Planets Under Attack (Steam)
- The Cat Lady (Greenlight)
- and some soundtracks

Well I'm definitely in for Eschalon by itself.

Actually, too bad those aren't Steam Linux games... especially since there are Linux versions...

Got it. It hits lower than 20$, which was my price to instant buy it.

So a ton of the Serious Sam games are on sale on Steam currently. I was never a fan, but they are so discounted now, I may as well try one. Is there a title that Serious Sam aficianados would say is best?

I've played them all, though I never finished SS2. I'd stick to the HD versions, as I believe the first two are remakes of the originals, but don't quote me on that. But both of them were good, simple shooters.

I picked up SS3 BFE a few days ago and I have to say it's pretty good, probably the best of the three. The gameplay is solid, the melee combat is a nice touch, it has very forgiving system requirements--it runs great on my nearly five-year-old laptop. There are Steam cheevies too, if you're into that kind of thing.

That said, the SS series is very shallow. You have to be in the mood for just blowing through levels shooting everything that moves. Not a lot of story or varied gameplay. But if you like early FPS's where life was simple, you might enjoy them.

Serious Sam really shines in (local, if possible) co-op (2 is good, 3 is better, 4 is more awesomer, 5...never managed 5) with the enemy count turned WAY up.

I had the most fun with the First Encounter. The Second Encounter is more of the same, but oddly didn't click with me quite as well. Perhaps the sheen wore off a bit. SS2 I played through with a buddy in a single all-night sitting when it released, and never went back. It was fun, but probably the low point in the series. Have yet to fire up SS3BFE, but I think about it frequently.

The HD remakes are pretty good lookers and still play great.

Dell is selling 4000 MS Points for $40.

Digital delivery of code...

Link comes up as $50. Did I miss it? Need to stock up for Bandfuse DLC.

Given that it was $40 when I left work, I'm thinking you missed it.

Amazon's running an end of February sale with a one use per customer code for an extra 25% off: "CAGROCKS".

I've not had a chance to peruse all the sales, but it seems several of the deals aren't as good as they have been before.

I did see Dead Space 1&2 for $8, and then 25% off looks on top of that would be pretty good.

Hehe, when I first saw that, I thought it said Crag Rocks
