Don't trust Petco!
We used to drive past that Petco on a regular basis (it's probably the one in Yonkers that had the Lies & Fish sign). Unfortunately, they finally fixed it a couple of years ago.
Reminds me of my younger brother and myself
Don't trust Petco!
Worst licensing of a Simon and Garfunkel song EVER.
It's gone now, but there used to be a sporting goods chain in Atlanta (at least) called "Herman's World of Sporting Goods". The one near me constantly had the "r" burned out, so it read "He man's World of Sporting Goods".
The actual contents of the store were disappointing after that.

Our local Black Angus steakhouse had a lot of problems with people shooting out the G.
I have to fish up a pic I had of Burdick Lexus in Syracuse. For a while, the B and U were burned out.
ETA: We used to have Herman's (we got sports!) in NY also. I think they all got taken over by Modell's.
At one point in the early 1990's, someone removed all of the L's from the NCSU campus public safety vehicles.
Grant Imahara is nothing but the shell a little girl wears?

It wasn't shot out, but for about 6 months the Texas Roadhouse up here had no lights in the "use".
Marsman got a chihuahua?
If he were wearing suspenders I would almost swear that's my father-in-law.

This is the best thing I've seen all day. Where's the original?

Sad to say, I have no idea. Tumblr's big flaw is lack of attribution.

I'm going to guess it's at powerpig.redbubble.com.

Oh wow, I could barely see that, good catch! Thanks!
Quaid... Start the reactor... Free Mars!
On the Virginia Tech campus they used to have trouble keeping the "i" in the "Recital Salon" sign beside the student center. I think it's locked behind a plexiglass cover now (or just gone; there's a lot of construction in that area at the moment).
I like how the Chihuahua is clearly living vicariously through his owner.
"Yes, yes, chop their heads off! Who's a real dog now, motherf*ckers?!"
