When an older co-worker that's not known to do well with any form of joking says "Time to shave man, you have more hair on your face than you have on top of your head" it is perhaps not the best idea to respond with "You're just jealous because I'm in that situation by choice."

I'm probably going to get talked to about this later.

Get out ahead of the issue, and submit a complaint to HR first about how that co-worker offended you by insulting your appearance.

The PSP has, at least to date, outsold both the 360 and the PS3 globally.

The 3DS has now outsold both the original Xbox and the GameCube. It'll pass the Sega Genesis anytime now.

Nothing really relevant in all that, but it's interesting.

Wow, I really had no idea. I've been so far out of the mobile game scene that the PSP stat just seems ludicrous.

Cool. Thanks, Clocky!

Worth noting the importance of the word globally in Clocky's stat-wielding. Still a surprisingly stat nonetheless.

If it were that big a deal this would have been in the loathe thread. It was just one of those moments where my voice kept right on going and my brain reached the "might want to slow down there buddy" moment a bit too late. Zero chance of me getting in real trouble for a variety of reasons I won't go in to. I got a "try not to stir him up" and my day continued normally

I keep going up to this booth and trying to convince them that a sales point for their robo-vacuum is that it will not harm a human being, will obey orders (unless they harm a human being), and will protect itself (unless that harms a human or disobeys).

They don't seem amused.

The first law of Robotics club is that you don't talk about the laws of Robotics.

I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away.

I didn't realize that Torgo was supposed to be a satyr. It probably doesn't help that I've only seen it on MST3K.

It's not often the internet makes me snort loudly and painfully.

Lol, that's exactly what I was wondering! Skinny jeans, plus high heels and poor posture is not a good combo.

Here's the thing...I am pretty certain those aren't skinny pants, of any type.

Looks like she's rocking to the outside of her feet, flexing her calves, making it look a little weird.

Yeah, she's also got her knees locked so they look a bit indented/backwards.

That's a ...thing... that ladies do, right?

Clearly she's a robot. I mean, look at the sign.

Heh, my best friend from college worked there until recently, but in their underwater robotics division. He would be amused.

Wait... the iRobot company has an underwater robotics division? O_o

I am now picturing tiny little robots vacuuming up the sea floor. I am mildly amused by this.

I read that as underwear robotics division...

Clearly I need more caffeine.

Or we need more underwear robots.

Roombas are the tip of the iceberg, seriously -- check out their site.

When the company was first starting to get people's attention, I read somewhere that the Roomba division was intended as an income stream while they worked on getting military contracts. Which makes the First Law extra-important.

Isn't the rule, "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean"?
or is that their sales pitch?

Have you told Quintin this yet?

I'll have you know I have excellent posture.

Well, probably not anymore, since his entire group got laid off. Guess they lost out on a military contract or something.

I just want to say that after standing for hours on cement at a trade show, you have to lean and stretch your legs occasionally. Funny moment in time though.

After the Aliens: Colonial Marines fiasco and Gearbox's involvement with it, I wonder if now some people will think of them as the "turd polisher" developer.

At least they know how to do Borderlands right ... for now. *fingers crossed*

What fiasco is that? I guess the game sucks?
