We can do this all day.

I never said I Love it, I was reminding someone about it.

Considering I took the picture, yes, it does.

Oh I think I know what your doctor's appointment today is about...
We've moved!
The removalists came and packed up everything on Tuesday and let me tell you: now I'm a grown-ass man I'm never not using professionals to do this stuff again. The money I paid them to wrap, pack, and itemise 72 boxes worked out less that it would have cost me to buy the packing materials myself in the first place.
Our stuff is now trundling along by road to meet us in Stockholm some time in the next 4-6 weeks. We have a bed on order so we can stop sleeping on a mat on the floor, I have some work-from-home contract work coming in as of Monday which will easily cover the rent and bills until something more permanent comes in, I have my Swedish ID card which makes life infinitely easier, and I have my favourite coffee mug with me which I hadn't appreciated until now was such a psychic anchor for me that it's never really felt like home until I drank my breakfast coffee from it.
We're over the hump. We're doing it. We've moved our family to start a new life in a new country and we're pulling it off. The stress is slowly starting to ebb away and, despite the fact the to-do list is still monumental, I feel like I can do this.
The Removalists is the name of my Smiths cover band.

Good one, Paul & Storm would be proud.
My coworker took the day off from work to "get ready" for the Sound Garden concert tonight and sent me these pictures.
Ron Zacapa is a damn fine rum.
As my former boss puts it "its like God sliding down your throat in silk pajamas"

Pizza was the only thing I ate at McDonalds for a while. When you're a kid, quality doesn't matter 'cause IT'S MOTHERF*CKING PIZZA.

Yep! Every time I ordered the pizza we had to go and wait in a designated parking spot. My family is still bitter that I would get nice hot pizza while their food sat and got cold.
The McRib is simply beyond disgusting. Like something created at the Black Mesa cooking school... though it's bakery fresh bun, tangy pickles, and sliced onions all enhancing an amazingly tasty BBQ sauce keep calling to me. Help!

That is sweet. I would rub that stuff all over my chest and send a picture of it to George. I might even take my shirt off before I do it.
Does Sulu Excelsior! smell like the future?

Shouldn't that be in the loathe thread?
Being home.
I'm going to try and go to an Oregon Symphony dress rehearsal of Beethoven's 9th Symphony tomorrow morning. Even if I don't get in, it'll still be a fun experience. Also, it's only $20 if I do get in.
Edit: The rehearsal was awesome this morning. Beethoven's 9th symphony is so fun.

I have tickets to see the Toronto Symphony perform the 9th next weekend; I can't wait.

Enjoy! The second movement is the best, and I've had it stuck in my head all day.
George Takei. He is so cute and funny.
As my Gen 2 iPad and iPhone 4S are long out of warranty, I decided to jailbreak both devices. Two jailbreaks are well worth the trouble - Nitrous and f.lux. Chrome with the Nitro JavaScript engine is crazy fast. Now thinking about installing AdBlock, especially on the iPhone to save on bandwidth.
