You're welcome.

You should probably double the whiskey amount just to be safe, though.

YES. Hot Toddy is fantastic for that... And tasty too.

Interesting. My great grandma's version included black tea and cloves in the preparation.

Mostly, she just put whiskey in any hot drink and called it a good idea. That side of the family isn't without troubles.

I love whiskey and I love tea, but I've tried hot toddies that combine both and I don't care for them at all.

I could use a hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps right about now...

I prefer butterscotch schnapps in my hot cocoa.

I prefer a bottle of Baileys without the coffee.

This man knows the truth.

I realized it's been quite a while since I've been out drinking. Not only binge, thread-starting, liver-corroding type drinking, but just even a nice, quiet, enjoyable drink over dinner with some friends.

Work's been crazy, yes, but still. I know there's a point in everyone's life where we just outgrow that aspect of our lives, and I thought I reached mine. I was OK with it and all, but then I think about it, and I do miss it. Not nostalgia miss it, (also), but like, I want to go party hardy like it's 1999 again.

So, I did what anyone in my position would, and talked to the few college friends that live down here also, and we decided to have a once a month dinner. 3 of them have girlfriends, and another has a beautiful baby girl with his girlfriend (getting married in May). So while they're all great party goers, this will probably damper the amount of abuse compared to what we used to do back in the day. No problem though, it'll be nice to have these gatherings.

We already completed January, but had to make it a Sunday lunch. But we all agreed (ladies included) that the February one has to be dinner, and it must be followed by heavy, nightclub drinking. Needless to say, I'm a happy man.

Gee, thanks for the invite.

hahahaha. You didn't go to college with me now, did you? DID YOU?!?!!

Checking in from New Joisey it is I, CCesarano, who should just use an actual screen name since no one can pronounce my last name. Awaiting Nel e Nel so we can jam on some necromoprhs in Dead Space 2.

I always feel bad I didn't play more of the multiplayer. I just gat so tied up in single player games and needing to write for my own website. And you know what? I'm trying to send some pitches to Wordsmythe and think I might have to make a toic for that call to writers, because maybe I gots what it takes mannnnnn. Maaaaaaaan!

Man.

I dunno, I just love writing about, critiquing and discussing video games. Theyre so wonderful, and I feel so bad for forgetting the apostrophe but this is drunk posting so NO CORRECTIONS.

But yeah, I lovve video games. They're so amazing. They're the perfect art form. You anc (that's supposed to be can)(with apostrophes like "can" at the endsdfasdfajsd;flj nevermind) You can tell a story like a movie but you got the interaction, and then you're not bogged down by an hour nad a half limit in time so you can make them like a book too. And you're always interacting and you're thinking so you're not getting dumb and it's just so amazing man.

Damn I gottfa finish my next script for a video. I gotta work on that. I gotta make more.

Did you see my first video? It's in my sig right now but it's kind of sh*tty so you don't have to see it. NBut know I'm making video s and jesus I'm more drunk than I thought. I thought I'd be all "Lookit me typing all proper and sh*t because I'm soberish not very drunk" but I guess half a bottle of Irish Mist will do that.

Well, tless than half a bottle. Let's be fair.

I'll stop now so I can wait for Nel e Nel and see if I can find more music on the Internets. I discovered that I really dig Asia, they're like what that lead singer wanted Styx to be, only not sh*t. So sort of in between? I dunno. They just remind me of Styx. So I need more of their albums. Or maybe more Yes. Or King Crimson. Or Peter Gabriel JGensisd. Genesis. f*ck. All I know is power metal is a fantastic genre with great potential, but it needs more bands to be like Sonata Arctica nad Blind Guardian, hwho use metal as the backbone/fraework for music and then write good MUSIC>

I also can't undersant f*ck understand how people can enjoy non-metal music. It just leacks anljsdflkasdf lacks energy. Soul. Spririt. Well, that's not completely true. Jazz is siome interesting stuff. And then there's classical.

Basically, punk is sh*t, most mainstream rock is sh*t, and f*ck all these acoustic humping indoie jerks. They strum a few chords and moan a few notes and its like "ZOMG SO AWESOME CUZ UR DIFFRENT" and its like "NO. f*ck that. They lack talent"

I mean jesus, why hasn't anyone out-Yngwie Malmsteen's d Yngie Malmsteen yet. Come on people.

Metal. And hard rock. Got spirit and soul and heart and emotion. Make you want to mjust thrash and move about.

Wait I said I'd stop writing. f*ck I'm drunk.

Yay I'm gonna stomp necromorphs while drunk!

"I mean jesus, why hasn't anyone out-Yngwie Malmsteen's d Yngie Malmsteen yet." - I know right? (I'm kidding, I have no idea what I'm talking about.)

Also that was awesome.

Also that was awesome.

It was weird hearing you try to talk about Peter Gabriel and Yes, then head right to "power metal is fantastic". Thank you for redeeming yourself with Sonata Artica and Blind Guardian!

I don't get it either

This made me LOL. What's great about this is it's really funny and on top of it you managed to spell his name right ... once at least.

Don't buy music off Amazon MP3 when you're drunk. You'll buy a lot. But at the very least, I had the senses to stop and start a new Wishlist consisting entirely of MP3 albums. Still, I spent like $50 on MP3 albums last night because I kind of lost track.

This comment confused me until I went back and read what I typed, and it sounds like I'm categorizing all of those bands as power metal.

I sure do jump topics, don't I?

This is my first post tonight while drinking many glasses of beer. Then vodka. Straight. Like a real man wood. I might have a banana.

edit: Growlers to go. At the brewery. IN THE AIRPORT.

Yeah, Laurelwood at the Portland airport is awesome. They don't overprice the beer either.

Apparently the San Diego airport will be putting in a Stone brewery area in the future. Although I'm not sure about the fair price... I doubt it. Stone is usually a rather expensive beer normally in liquor stores.

Edit: for some reason this seemed more like the beer thread than.... this one. No one had slur typed for a couple posts, hah!

$5.50 for an imperial pint (20 oz) of beer! Love it.

Oh also, my flight had complementary rotating beer and wine selection. Kona Koko Brown was on tap in flight. God I love the PNW.

Yet another reason why I'm glad the Intertubes weren't around during my drinking days.

I don't know how you kids do it. I really don't.
