What are you playing this weekend?

Today is Persona 4 Golden followed by some quality time out of the house with the kids. We're thinking a bookstore (for two kids who love reading) and dinner. Finally, maybe some more study my performing techniques via books and ebooks at bed time.

Tomorrow is Persona 4 Golden since my kids prefer our "time together" is when we all sit on the same couch playing different video games. After that it's Take a Workshop on Stand-Up Comedy then my weekend concludes with Pretend I'm a Real Comedian at a local theater.

I'm still helping a vampire deal with family issues in Skyrim. There might be some Evochron Mercenary, too. I've been learning combat the gradual and explodey way.

Ever play that last game in Houston?

I'm playing TaxAct then hopefully lots and lots of Eve Online.

Nope. I've only been at it here in the Austin area since March of last year. Some of my friends have gone out that way though.

Honestly, I need to start playing in theaters outside of my comfort zone.

I managed to play some TF2 with other Goodjers on Friday, but other than that it's looking like it'll be a slim gaming weekend. I'm hoping my wife and I get to play Stacking or open up X-Com tonight.

When do you play in Austin? I'm in Dallas, but I spend some time in Austin at some point pretty much every month. When do you do your stand-up? I'd love to come check it out.

I've studied improv at a newer/smaller theater since March of last year. I really only get to play on the open mic nights every Sunday, but am starting to audition. This workshop today is my first experience even going near stand-up, but I'm hoping to learn from it. If nothing else, I'm also trying to learn how to perform as a stage magician. This is as much about "learning to script" as it is about, maybe, some day just doing a stand-up bit.

Mass Effect 3 and that's about it. I'm loving it and can't see anything bad with it just yet. Seems to have just the right amount of everything if you ask me.

Okay, I thought it was crazy when people started posting here on Wednesday, but geez! It's not even hump day yet!

Ah, well, my weekend technically starts today. That should explain the why as to my post :D.

Ni No Kuni and Persona 4. With the square sale I'll probably pick up a couple final fantasy titles. I completely forgot how much I enjoy jrpgs.

Had to call in sick today, so my weekend starts off early. Playing the packing game, followed by Resident Evil 6 and Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Oh, and the make a new video game, too.

If Snowmaggedon doesn't eat my electricity, I'll be playing Ni no Kuni. And regardless, some board games.

Working my way through the month of September in Persona 4 Golden.

Also working on the Dawnguard expansion for Skyrim. Just got Dragonborn installed as well, so I may stumble onto other new content along the way.

Probably WoW. I haven't played since the end of 2010 so I'm basically rediscovering the game.

My weekend will include some unforeseeable combination of the following, in no particular order:

DmC
Amnesia
Chivalry
BIT.TRIP BEAT (last level, I HATE YOU)
Witcher
Ratchet & Clank: ToD
Binding of Isaac
Wizorb

I'm going to have some large chunks of free time for the first time in about a month, so as I continue to put off packing my belongings up for my move to a bigger apartment, I'll be putting in some quality hours with Dead Space 2, Ni no Kuni, and Okami HD. If I can get about 2 hours into each of them before the next work week starts I'll be pretty happy.

Oh, and maybe some WoW: Mists of Pandaria with a friend. Gotta be my brewmaster, yo.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer and Halo 4 Spartan Ops on sunday (think we still have one open spot on sunday afternoon).

While being very glad I don't live in the northeast this weekend as it appears that snowmageddon is coming, I'll be playing Ni No Kuni and some Anno 2070. On Sunday I'm hoping to get through Spartan Ops on Halo 4 with a couple of Goodjers.

More The Cave and Ni No Kuni. Board games if the power goes out.

Finishing off Dark Souls, including DLC areas.

More MLB 2K12, back into Skyrim, and if all goes according to plan, some Crusader Kings II.

Hell yeah you are!

I'll be playing some Magic Online. The new expansion debuts today. Apart from that, not much.

Today marks the first birthday of The Even Littler Fremen, who has damn near overtaken the original (20 lbs vs 26), so I guess I won't be calling him that for long. Gonna be playing the birthday party game tomorrow.

Skyrim while the power remains (just turning 100 hours!), then board games if the power goes out thanks to Nemo.

Possibly some Fifa Football [VITA] (as usual). May get in a few hours of Test Drive Unlimited 2 [Xbox 360]. My save game got corrupted after 105 hours gameplay two weeks or so after it came out. Just had the patience to start it back up again. Do love that game though, wish Forza Horizon was as big as that game.

I'm diving back into prototyping a game I'm writing, now that I've hashed it out (and have a design doc). Other than that, maybe some original Guild Wars to build up my HoM in prep for me getting GW2

I'm also working on a prototype for a game, be it a very leisure pace. I'm heavy into the design phase now. I'm just trying to nail some things down before I get crazy.

I want to wrap up Dishonored, and I hope to touch some Walking Dead Ep 2, Path of Exile, or War Z.

And lighting a candle for Vigil.

As strange as it may sound, although I just picked up Ni no Kuni last week (and am enjoying it), and have been having great fun with FTL, most of my gaming time this weekend will probably be taken up with my latest obsession: The Ur-Quan Masters, the Star Control II port/remake project. In college, I played Star Control II more than any other game (and that's really saying something!), and yet hadn't tried out UQM until only last weekend. Wow, how I've missed SC2!!

Haaaaallelujah!
