Can I do yoga with a hurt back?

The little screw that holds the frame of my glasses together , thus keeping the lens from fallig out, is getting loose and not staying tight. Is there any reason why I should not seal it for good with a small dab of crazy glue? (The glasses are 4+ years old, if it makes a difference.)

None whatsoever. I've done it.

I did that once and the next time I needed to buy new lenses I had to buy new frames because hey couldn't get the old lenses out.

Use Loctite Blue instead. It will keep the screw every bit as secure as glue, but you'll be able to remove the screw later if you should ever need to. A small tube won't cost you any more than super glue.

Yes, but make sure you tell the instructor before class so they can tell you to modify things that might hurt.

Also, a studio is probably better for you than a yoga class at a gym.

Oh, I do yoga at home. I follow a DVD guy. He is not going to adjust his lessons because of me. He's very strict.

Aha. Then good general advice is don't do anything that causes pain or bad pinchy feelings there, and flex your buttcheeks and tuck your tailbone in when you do standing things (helps your core muscles hold your lower back in place).

I suppose flexing your buttcheeks is good life advice anyway, so just do that a lot.

My God. That's it!

Thanks. I will look for it the next time I go to the hardware store.

I honestly don't know the best place to post this as it encompasses three different forums, but.... okay. Steam. My client automatically logs me in. It's been months since I've had to manually enter in my password. Ergo... I've forgotten what it actually IS. I've tried the ones I USUALLY use, and nope.... none of them work to log into Steam via browser. Now, this would not be a problem since, as I said, my Steam client automatically logs me in. BUUT... I'm thinking of upgrading my computer in the foreseeable future. So... is there a way I could go about getting my password without having to go through the whole password reset rigmarole via Steam support?

When I go into the Steam client options to "Change Password".... it asks me FOR my current password. Erm, yeah, that's not gonna work. And from what I can see there's no option to have them just, oh, I dunno... send my email a reminder of what my password is. No, that would be silly.

EDIT: The other way I can find out, according to the Steam support page, is basically for me to log out of my perfectly good, logged-in Steam Client which already knows my password, then try to log back in and do the whole "Retrieve a lost account". Except it's not lost, it's right there, I just don't remember my mother loving password...

First, make sure your account has the correct email on file. Then, in Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Change Password. It'll email you, so there's a little turn around time, but I think it'll work without you needing to log out of your account. I haven't tried it yet, though.

EDIT: And use a password safe from now on.

Which should we get? I have heard of stories about NSMB leading to divorce.

Disney's Guilty Party is a lot of fun. My wife bought it for herself after buying me the Wii. Mario Party without the competition basically as you all work together to finish each map instead of against each other. Goofy humor and such abound.

Since email is so insecure, good systems won't just email you your password. This may be disappointing, but they don't do it for good reasons. Your best bet is to just use your browser to reset your email.

Then I'd recommend you head to the password security thread and look at some options for a free personal password repository app. It really is a nice thing to have.

KeePass is your friend! It has saved me a ton of headache in the past year, especially because I use a rotating suite of passwords that are never in sync across all programs, websites, etc.

Oh, I've had my eye on that one for awhile but haven't played it. Thanks for reminding me of it!

Good for playing with people of multiple skill levels too, as the game allows each player to set their difficulty levels for the mini games.

Clear fingernail polish works well for this as well.

Does anyone have $550,000 I can borrow?

Split it with you?

That's just the starting bid, you know it's going to go up!

I understand being a collector, but by the looks of it, he has about 40 PS2's.... why?

And did you guys see that DVD player? That's going to bring in 50k by itself

Let me call my credit card company and see if they'll increase my limit...

I want to point this out:

About the shipments, i think that ship all those items is a great task, and right now I don’t know how much it will cost, but I have a parent that send container all over the world frequently, so I can use his experience to do a proper work, you’ll understand I’ll need about a month to pack all.(please note the buyer is responsible for shipping cost and insurance)

We pay for shipping? DEAL KILLER!

Just rent one of those Pod things and have it dropped at his place first.

No one will buy that, way overpriced.

LeapingGnome wrote:

I'm kinda curious what the original retail price of all that stuff would total to, but not curious enough to research and work it out. There might be a few extremely rare things in there worth more as collector items but not THAT much more.

Also

No damage to the jewel case or item cover, no scuffs, scratches, cracks, or holes.

All those discs and carts and not a single one is scuffed or scratched?

Is it odd that when I find a song I like, I'll often listen to it over and over and over... for hours on end?

Why does the area around my computer desk smell like cat pee? I don't have a cat, and my dog has not peed in the house. I'm also pretty sure there are no stealth rodents in my apartment.

Have you eaten anything with pineapple/pineapple juice at your desk lately? I spilled some pineapple juice on my chair/desk, tried to clean it up, and damned if it didn't smell like cat pee a few days later.

Is there an easy way to get over my "it will be too much hassle" mental blocks and sell off some of my excess stuff cluttering my apartment? In the past I've taken car-loads to Goodwill, but some of this stuff is probably worth some money and could help out with bills/new toys. Like an easy step-by-step process or SOP I can go through instead of working out that crap for myself?
