Aw, looks like the one(s?) in Apex have closed. Nearest Piggly Wiggly stores are ZEBULON!!! *CRASH OF THUNDER* or Pittsboro *sad trombone*.

Fixed those for you.

Good call.

I bought two racks of ribs. Plan to do one dry rub, the other wet (sauced).

I SAID GODDAMN! I didn't know there would be Quintin ribs. I've had them. I crave them. Like his hair.

You said you'd be there if you were healthy. Are you healthy? Does the thought of ribs make you feel healthier?

I could punch through Paleo's titanium sternum for Quintin ribs.

I'll hold you to that.

Funny. Back when my wife and I were still dating I tried ti get her to cook for me by telling her that the way to a man's heart was through his stomach. She replied by telling me that that didn't square with what they taught her in nursing school and that the proper way was through the pericardium.

And the way she gestured with the carving knife made me realize this was the girl for me.

That doesn't square with what I know about my penis.

I'm fair certain she doesn't have one of those. I'm no Manti Teo.

How did Obama make this woman forget she has hands?

He's the President!

To keep things simple and to avoid argument, I'm choosing to blame the Te'o thing on Obama, too.

I just picked up a bunch of wine and ciders for tonight, including 6 bottles of Zombie Killer.

*Looks up at the clock*

Just three hours...

Obamacare cut off her brain medicines!

I'll bring the hashish!

Spoiler:

Not really, I don't have any hashish.

Spoiler:

I actually do, I'll have it tonight.

Spoiler:

I'm full of sh*t, there's nothing.

Spoiler:

Seriously, wait. We'll be so high

Spoiler:

Nope. This is all a joke. Really.

Spoiler:

HIGH! HIGH LIKE HUNTER S. THOMPSON!

No luck finding cole slaw. Plan b-ing it with chips and guacamole.

I gave Paleo a heads-up yesterday after lunch (really good lunch btw... we talked shop a lot): I won't be there until 7-ish since all 3 kids have a belt stripe test for karate tonight. The girls will be doing their first weaopns test! I'm trying to convince Kayc to come, but it depends on how things go.

Have fun tonight! My boss is out this week, which means I've been doing his job (and mine!) all week. I've been operating on little sleep and now my allergies are acting up, so I will not make it tonight.

Whoa!

Not cole slaw, but much better, Whole Paycheck has marinated collards that are delicious.

Need any help with the convincing?

Ok, wrapping up at work, should be on the way shortly.

Not sure if I'm going to make it or not. If I do, it'll probably be really late.

Great to see (and meet) folks this evening. Yellek/Quintin, I now know where you live.

I may or may not have left a can of radioactive bees in your house.

Just sayin.

Thanks again for inviting us all over to your home! It was really great meeting everyone and being able to put faces to avatars.

Had a damn fine time with everyone at Stone and Yellek's. Close, old friends and new friends alike... you all made it special. Merphle and Paleocon, hope you each know by now that you've always got a home down here. And don't forget...

Issa peeyesstoo esclusiff.
