Ok, I have to ask. What is the deal with midget Arnold? I'll admit it does seem pretty hilarious, but is there a particular reason the meme was created?

It's just one of those bastions of the interwebs, a gloriously hilarious timesink. In other words: because! Shut up!

PS. Edwin, those are great-- source plz? Need more!

I just assumed it was because he is actually shorter than average and they supposedly had to make all kinds of workarounds for him in films over the years. (Source: random remembrance from before he was the governator specifically the Batman movie where he is like 6 inches shorter than his prison guards.)

Well, yeah-- my friend met him on the set of Terminator 2, and the first thing my buddy told me was that Arnie was shorter than he looks on screen. But Google says Arnie is 6'2", and Sly is 5'10" (my height!!).

Is it possible that the IE users were the targets of serial killers?

It's a Firefox and Chrome conspiracy to knock off the competition.

It's a bit late, but oh well...

I want Lego versions of all board games. No way I'd use those dice though.

Come on! It'll be great when someone throws those dice too hard and they explode into bricks!

Yoink. We have a lot of Lego. I mean A LOT. This pic leads to some great ideas.

The Lego dice can actually take some abuse. The black part is made of raised rubber and the faces of the cubes are 2x2 flat panels that socket into it. Also, the official Lego board games are nice conceptually but horrible to play. The rules usually revolve around rolling the dice turn by turn waiting for a specific color to come up so that you can advance to the next objective / specific color needed. We've house ruled the heck out of them to make them playable in 15 - 20 minute spans.

@LockAndLoad, this is Catan though, the default board is pretty bad. I mean, I'd like to see Lego Carcassone or Lego Ticket to Ride, etc.

To me, it feels like LEGO Carcassone would involve way too many pieces.

You'd have to upsize the tiles to 5x5 to be able to get some semblance of card resolution (does this have a Chapel? Is that a Town at the crossroads?) while still being able to keep the "roads enter/exit from the middle" effect (which I'm drawing a blank on the official name of designing cards that way).

Eh, you're only talking about 72 tiles, so It's probably do-able. But how do you keep the "blind draw" going? Use a bag to store the tiles?

LEGO TTR would be pretty cool though, especially with a LEGO map of the US that you're building on top of.

For Carcassone, I would have a stack of flat tiles and a deck of cards. The deck of cards would show you how to assemble the terrain from a bank of pieces that you're about to play. It's not a fully-fleshed out idea, probably not even a good one.

Where have I seen this animation before? Oh right, it's burned into my brain from picking every possible lock in Risen 2.

But I still love that game.
