What are you playing this weekend?

Trying to finally put some decent time into Xcom and maybe a little Assassin's Creed III. Every weekend I say I'll dive back into Guild Wars 2, but every weekend I don't. I'm amazed at how quickly that game lost its appeal to me.

Dude, that sucks. You seemed to happy about being there at the S&T last weekend. Sorry that it turned on you so fast.

As for me, I had planned on addressing the ongoing games pile, but got sucked in to Borderlands and will pretty much just be playing that all weekend. Maybe a little UMvC3 too.

Some more Mists of Pandaria, and Saints Row The Third.

Possibly some NHL 13 tomorrow if I can find the time.

Well, this is somewhat embarrassing... I just blew the ligaments on my left ankle stepping off the shuttle to work this morning and will be taking a three week medical leave because of this silly little mishap. Image after the link; not too bad but maybe not fit for the squeamish:

That there tennis-ball-of-a-lump is where my ligaments decided to call it quits!

I guess I'll be making tons of progress on the pile :/

That looks grim, get well soon. Like you say you can get some games rattled off.

I was off work from July till November, because I had 2 bulged discs in my back which trapped the sciatic nerve and caused lots of pain and numbness down my right leg, then I was of from the 20th December for my operation to remove the bulging parts and I'm planning on returning to work the week after next, so it's been allot of playing games for me. I have watched allot of TV shows too, but even then, I can't say I actually finished allot of games.

Good luck to you!

I'm putting some good time into penny arcade 3, which is excellent on the iPad. Also working on uncharted golden abyss and finishing chapter one of the walking dead

Broken clavicle, that does not look nice, I hope you have a quick recovery.

Played some Dishonored this morning. I can't avoid High Chaos. I use the Heart, find out what a creep someone is, and suddenly the bodies start piling up.

Downloaded Ys: Oath In Felghana, so I'll try that out on the PSP tonight. And then it's back to my old nemesis the Bell Gargoyle in Dark Souls. I think we're finally starting to understand one another.

I'm home sick with the flu. No combat comedy at the improv theater. No performing magic. I'm only upright thanks to DayQuil for the moment, and I smell even after two showers yesterday.

Thankfully I'm all Portables and PCs, so I'll be playing less intellectually demanding portable games this weekend. That probably means fighters: Dead or Alive Dimensions, maybe some Code of Princess on the 3DS. Mortal Kombat and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom on the Vita.

Edit: I turned on Civ5. Goodbye weekend. In lighter news, I forgot that I was sick for a while. Forgot to eat. Forgot to talk to my family. Totally got revenge on Iroquois for letting me weaken Mycenae then stealing it from me at the last second.

I didn't see that before. Sad to hear it as well

Working my way through Distant Worlds (at Veloxi's urging), playing a little Dead Pixels, continuing to build my island empires in Anno 2070, and thinking of going back and finishing Assassin's Creed II.

I'm still there, they just dissolved my business unit on Monday, so I've got lots of decision - both internally and externally - to make.

So I only got to put 12 hours into Skryim yesterday...

Interrupted today and got in a play of Castle Panic and Elder Sign.

Really like Elder Sign - it's basically a quicker, less fiddly version of Arkham Horror. I need to check the errata, because with 7 people, it felt like we never had any pressure in us. We just owned the board.

Faeria is in alpha, and I was lucky enough to get a code, so I'm going to be playing a lot of that this weekend.

Definitely some Skyrim as my friend has been selling me on this hard with the mods that make it look awesome. Guess I'll see. Also wanna finish my season of MLB 12 The Show as the next one is only 6 weeks away or so.

I read 'resume' as in the opposite of pause. I assumed it was an indie title I had not heard of. Good luck with the hard decisions, hopefully something works out for you quickly.

I'll be sticking to Dark Souls and Borderlands 2 DLC this weekend. I'll play some Catan tonight though.

Going to try and push through Penny Arcade 3. It's rapidly outstaying it's welcome. (funny, yes - fun to play - not really). More fun, from a very old-school perspective, is Swords and Sorcery : Underworld Gold (Bards Tale / M&M style indie game) so I'm working my way slowly through that as well. Also working through the Captain Scarlet DLC for Borderlands 2 and picking away at Tales of the Abyss on 3DS. Mieu!

I'll be playing Strike Suit Zero and Gratuitous Space Battles for review, and Skyrim for myself.

Played CoD Zombies tonight(which was great). I'll probably put another hour or two into Torchlight 2, awesomenauts and FTL. But I should really start playing games that has some progress instead of multiplayer mayhem. I've already sunk 183 hours into CoD mp alone (13hours in zombies and finished SP in 6hours). SO I just think with that amount of gaming I could have finished at least 4 or 5 storyline-based games.

At least if I can finish Torchlight 2 I'll feel a lot better.

I'm trying to stay away from World of Warcraft this weekend since my partner will be AFK - which means I can't romp the countryside with him picking flowers/catching not-Pokemon/murdering all types of flora and fauna.

I will, instead, be trying to play some Sleeping Dogs if/when I find some time outside of my birthday celebrations, the NFL championship games, and the return of my beloved NHL.

Mechwarrior Online because it's a Double XP weekend and Max Payne 3. Maybe Torchlight, if I can squeeze it in between the people coming to town for the weekend, studying, and NFL Championship Sunday.

Maybe some Epic Mickey, probably getting the last bonus levels in Kirby's Epic Yarn.

This weekend is a repeat of the last two weekends:

Ticket to ride, and some scribblenaut unlimited.

Dragon Quest IX, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and undoubtedly some Fortune Street.

Dark Souls, as usual. Magic cards, which is sadly unusual these days.

I'm actually excited for Strike Suit. I hope its fun.

I want to play some more backlog games, if my son will let me.

Not a bad game. The first main character looks good (Mars?). The other characters look decent and the combat is kind of Dragon Age-ish.

Slowly going through Sleeping Dogs. I like it a lot.

New Super Mario Bros. 2, Board games, and maybe Epic Mickey 2?

Frog Fractions, a little indie game from last year that has recently come to my attention. From what I've heard the game is deceivingly brilliant. Can't wait to find out!
