NCAA 13 Xbox360 Season III (2-star league) - Week 9 (Spots Available)

I am going to try to get my game in early Saturday morning. The wife works the early shift this week.

Okay, I'm ticked off that Andrew Maxwell (QB, MSU) was named Big 10 player of the week last week!!

The stats:
Maxwell (MSU): 22-40, 314 Yds, 15 Car, 23 Yds, 5 Total TD.
Roberson (IU): 12-24, 268 Yds, 4 Car, 27 Yds, 5 Total TD.

So, let's get this straight: Roberson had more rushing yards, the same completion percentage (more or less), the same number of TDs, and a much higher yards-per-attempt (11.2 v. 7.9). Plus, Roberson (IU) did this against Wisconsin, Maxwell (MSU) gained those stats against North Texas. And he won player of the week last week? And he's now the front-runner for the Heisman?

Oh, it's on mother f*cker. It. Is. On.

Here's looking forward to the week 10 match-up between IU and #2 MSU. Please don't lose before then, MSU – I'd like to knock you down from the #1 post and knock your QB out of Heisman contention in the same game.

(Actually, I could get two shots, since MSU could be in the championship game with me...)

One game left!

We are waiting on Mr. Bonney.

I am giving you until the end of day Wednesday or we move on.

I still don't think I'm ready to discuss my game versus ASU. After having my 1st game crash with Kansas up 21-0 at the half, this time I got a 13mph crosswind that changed the game a ton. Plus, I suddenly couldn't run the ball.

I was up 14-7 at the half, and lost 24-21. It was controller breaking worthy, to say the least.

League has been rolled this morning!

Welcome to Week 7!

Congrats to Kush on cracking the Top 25 with a 3-3 record. I can't believe that I only get a 4 spot jump after beating the #1 ranked team in the nation. No respect I tell you.

Wow, Kush. That's impressive!

I may be able to get my game in tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to playing again!

Evidently IU is battling Arkansas State for the #1 DT in the country. That's odd.

Right now Fresno is the front runner for the #1 QB and #1 kicker in the nation. I want the 4-star kicker and have him as a soft commit right now.

Out of curiosity, what is he rated? I was very happy to land a 78 rated punter last season.

He is rated a 84(-3). He may be my punter and kicker for the next 4 years if I get him!

Holy cow. Great find!

I cracked the Top 25? Are you sure you didn't mean Top 125?

IU beat Purdue last night, 45-17. It shouldn't have been that close, but I pulled a Kush and threw 5 INTs! Thankfully I grabbed another two back. My TE had 2 TDs and was officially player of the game, but it should have been my star receiver, who also caught 2 TDs and nearly had a 61 yard punt return that was nearly a TD.

"Pulling a Kush" WAS defined as throwing 9 Ints.

Now it's defined as "Making the Top 25 with a mediocre record"

Temple beats NC State 55-16. NC State couldn't catch a pass to save their ass until the 4th quarter. By that point, it was out of reach. My average starting field position had to be from the 50 or closer, their offense was THAT bad.

Kansas was down 3-0 after a half in which USC converted each of Jake Heaps' 3 INTs into points. And while it got interesting for half a minute when Heaps hit McCay for a long TD, USC proceeded to run away with the game, winning 31-7.

Looks like we're just waiting on our commish...who has a bye.

By the way, if you want to see what busted coverage looks like, watch the only video I uploaded from the IU-Purdue game...

Huh. It seems my DE has 11 tackles, but 12 tackles for a loss. Tackles must mean individual?

Some things are to important like rooting for your team in the Super Bowl! I will roll through everything tonight after the AFC Championship game.

The league was rolled last night. I finished my recruiting and felt lucky playing Oregon State. They started to steamroll me and lead 14-0 before my offense started clicking. Went to the half 24-24 when the game froze. I was so upset because I had momentum that I put in Assassin's Creed III and stabbed some redcoats. Then I felt better.

Also got the #1 K in recruiting. Woohoo! Now the #1 QB needs to join him.

I appreciate that Temple had a crushing win over NC State...and subsequently dropped out of the top 25. In the Coaches Poll Temple (4-3) has twice as many votes as Indiana (4-1). In the Media Poll, Indiana has a slide lead in votes on Temple.

I'll get my chance, as I play #1 Michigan State in three weeks...if I can get past a certain team from the state of Kansas.

Also got the #1 K in recruiting. Woohoo! Now the #1 QB needs to join him.

I'm in line for the #1 DT, #5 CB, and #9 HB. I have a shot at the #1 TE, although MSU leads. I've just started recruiting the #1 CB, but he doesn't look much different from the 5th ranked guy.

Yeah, well I'm in line to grab the 666th rated QB, B.L.Sebub.

You're all in trouble now...............btw, my recruiting is done #byeweek

Disappointment. Down 38-35 with 2 mnutes to go. I start marching down the field. I am within field goal range when I have my wide receiver run a slant pattern. He gets behind the linebackers and I hit him at the 6 of Oregon State. Safety comes over and rips the balls from him and Oregon State recovers at the 2. Game over.

Ouch!

I'm hoping to get my game in tonight.
