Post a video, entertain me!

Looks like an 8-bit Mass Effect. I dig the music by Shiny Metal. After first seeing this video I hunted him down and grabbed an alternate version of the music for this and have had it in my rotation since.

One man choral version of the Misty Mountain song from The Hobbit

I must bow to your GoogleFu, because I can not find that alternate version you mention. If you could possibly post a link I would greatly appreciate it.

Why would anyone... ANYONE this that a "Comedy Club" app for XBOX Live populated entirely by the XBOX community was a good idea? Did no-one in the room stop and go "Wait.... is this a good idea?"

Yea having found it before it took me a few minutes to find it again but you lucked out. It is actually a completely different track. Here is a link to ShinnyMetal's page as well.

So glad I've moved on from Xbox Live.

The one article I could find about that game suggested the hecklers would be the worst part—but the heckler was the best part of that video.

That was pretty cool.

Penn and Teller tackle vacination!

I remember that episode. We have some friends who don't believe in vaccinating their kids. I'd like to show them this.

I had an anti-vaccer in-law at Christmas dinner. It made an awkward evening even more awkward. Didn't feel like confrontation, though.

While it's nothing to do with vaccinations, that basically describes most family event I have to go to. Irrational beliefs make me sad. I just try my best to keep my mouth shut and get out the door as soon as I can.

I thank you sir.

Bwahhhhh?

Walk off the Earth (5 people playing 1 guitar group) have a new cover hit:

But... but... but... it is a Taylor Swift song... but... but... but... they made it good... I... I didn't think that was possible.

The Wheel

This whimsical, visually imaginative tale concerns a dutiful young man, fated to maintain a large wheel that balances the entire world — and his rebellious sister who is determined to tempt that fate.

That goes to show that the problem with Taylor Swift songs is Taylor Swift herself.

There are some very talented song-writers working behind the scenes of a lot of these acts. For instance, Katy Perry's Firework:

Really does a good job of showing how musically talentless Katy Perry really is. Listen to the original version and it sounds screechy and the overall sound is sort of narrow bandwidth. But there's nothing wrong with the song itself other than execution.

No wonder some in Congress want to kill NASA.

As further evidence that the right performer makes all the difference I submit My Life:

Thank you for that video. My wife works in public health and is constantly trying to tell people that message in the video. (I would say some more, but I will save it for the P&C section).

That was cool!

One guy made this video over a period of seven months.
(He had help with audio. :))
