Official Team Fortress 2 Game Nights (PC)

Man, I miss playing on the private. Seems like only once in a blue moon-day we actually play there, then it crashes after twenty minutes, then we have to switch to the pub yet again. Do we know why it crashes so much? Is castle4 just really unstable?

Debatable. I love castle and am under the impression most people here hate it.

Edit: Gumbie's short list is a great start, although I always mix up cashworks and swiftwater.

Edit edit: Any other cp (5-point or attack/defend) that we like? floodzone? toyfort? pony_fortress? =)

circlejerk?

I saw circlejerk and immediately thought it was evilseed who suggested it. I'm going to ask for Meridian to be left off. That map is terrible.

I think we should add Wolfen's map. I always enjoyed it.

I have recently played and enjoyed plr_panic.

Because we need more CTF maps I suggest ctf_chaos

I enjoy Castle. It certainly has some flaws but I usually have fun on it.

Am tired already, but sooooo want to play TF2 again on our own server.
Hoping there will be more tonight than just me!

I would try to avoid adding too many maps. It would be hard to keep a full server if we're constantly changing to custom maps. Not that I'm against them but we do have a lot of them on the private.

I joke about castle, for sure, but I do have fond memories of it. At this point I will admit the flaws (mostly red spawn doors) are a little much for continued play.

Stag is another map I have very fond memories of, but mostly because I used to be able to play sniper really well on that map. Since I can't shoot to save my life anymore, I am on the fence.

But we must have desertfortress. Sure, snipers are a pain, but I love stabbing Gumbie! And what better opportunity than Desertfortress?

I miss Desert Fortress!

You would.

Also Trainz

Borneo? Not to play more payload maps, but maybe to add some variety to those we play. It seems like we are stuck in a rut for a few.

I would like to subscribe to your news letter good sir.

Yeah, I miss it too. A large part of it is because of the ability to save replays.

I've always liked cp_warpath, only if the server is full though. The map is pretty large.

I can't believe I forgot about this map. I wonder if there is a newer version than the one on the server that fixes the glitch with one of Red's spawn doors not opening when trying to reenter the room.

2fort_upsidedown? No love?

Oh geez... http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=9714

It'll be just like the earbuds...

Added pl_borneo_v3 to the pub.

Wait -- why are they doing this? What conceivable reason could there be? This isn't Beanie Babies.

Oh wait -- this is just another economic experiment, to see what happens when scarcity-through-retirement is applied to virtual goods. Clever bastards.

...and in the time it took me to write this, they're all gone from the Warehouse. No Fancy Fedora for me.

They're putting them in the Disney Vault!

And no one took me seriously when I said their economist is mad with power!

The unusual versions of those hats are going to be worth a small fortune in the near future.

Well thanks to ukick I just got an Unusual demo fro. Hopefully this will make it a little more valuable if I decide to trade up. I also I have vintage Pyro beanie that I never wear. Maybe I can get something nice with it.

Just grabbed a vintage soldier's stash before the guy knew what he had.

This doesn't change the number of vintage versions of these hats at all...

My black-painted Vintage Fancy Fedora just went up 10000% in value!

True, but removing all non vintage versions may make them go up in value.

Those evil smart bastards. They even took them out of the starter bundles!
