NFL 2012 Wild Card Week Thread

Well, that game sucked. The winner was whoever could be the least incompetent. Texans had the edge since they had the two best players on the field today (Foster, Watt). Dalton just fell apart.

Hard to feel good about next week, but hey, at least there is a next week.

Not sure I've heard a home crowd boo their own team this much ever in a win.

Methinks the Packers just blew this game wide open.

I'm happy so far. Dom Capers does his thing after only one drive by Minnesota. Aaron Rodgers looks sharp, DuJuan Harris is doing enough and maybe more, and John Kuuuuuuhn has a TD. Go Pack.

Last play of the half, had a dude WIDE OPEN and threw a three-hopper to the WR.

Minnesota may want to consider just running the wildcat with AP on every play.

5 yard penalty. Game over.

Love it and makes sense as to why he signed so quickly.

Kuhn now has 2

I hadn't noticed

Joe Webb, ladies and gentlemen. The thing is, he's been on that team for probably three years. The Vikings know he's not very good, but somehow decided not to bring in a better backup.

A better backup would of stole ponders job

Another turnover. I'm really liking this defense. Clay Matthews needs to stay healthy. None of this is possible without him.

Good grief. Special teams falling apart now too.

Maybe the Vikings should just take a knee.

Tony Dungy was probably well over the legal limit when he said the "Vikings will win because Joe Webb is QB" in the pre-game. I don't think anyone was more wrong in the history of sports.............I take that back, he's #2.

Hey, the Joe Webb thing worked pretty well early on...until the defense adjusted.

One series and three points. Good on the GB coaches for being prepared.

I hope tomorrow's games are better.

+2. I was drinking half the day and those games were dreck.

Yeah, the games were a bit of a let down but no way did I think Minnesota could pull off another win like they did last week. They poured all their emotion into that last game. Ponder not playing didn't help at all but Webb was exciting to watch at times with his scrambling.

This game is starting to be just as horrible as yesterday's games.

I think that might have been the worst pass interference call I've ever seen.

edit: Yeah, these officials are terrible.

To be fair neither of these teams have been pretty all year long.

All I'm hoping for is ridiculousness.

edit: Like that. Luck being super human and me being conflicted enjoying an Indy QB.

CBS Announcers: "That's not a face mask".

No, that's the MOST face mask. He took him down by twisting his head.

What's the over-under on dumb comments for Simms today? Is he trying to one-up Dierdorf?

No one is as bad as Dierdorf, but Simms is clearly in tier two of crap announcing.

Wow. No protection. No pocket.
