And now I must go take a shower with gasoline and fire.

I can't wait to see the new search results that we get from this.

She saw the Steam bill?

One of the things I try to do once a year is do a full playthrough of Half Life 2. I just finished Ravenholm and if you recall how that chapter ends, Father Grigori guides you through a graveyard, to a mine entrance, and it's a bit of a gauntlet. Once you finish, he raises a gate for you and you go through to the other side. He stays to tend to his "congregation." Well, he finishes with a bit of maniacal laughter, and this particular time, just lights EVERYTHING near him on fire, stands in the middle of it, and blasts away at headcrab zombies amidst the flames.

I've been playing Fable III on my PC with a controller, 'tis fun!

Apparently it's rated MA15+ here in Australia though (roughly equivalent to the US M17+ rating). Bwuh?! Strong sexual reference and violence?

It does seem a bit racy at times, but it's otherwise a very innocent sort of game. Is there some Hot Coffee style shenanigans later on I don't know about?

...

Upon further research it's rated M17+ in the US, and PEGI 16 in Europe! Clearly I'm missing something here.

T-minus one month and one day until the baby is due. It's diapers, desetin, and butt paste as far as the eye can see...

Yeah, like that's any different from 9 months ago.

The Fable games are traditionally rather violent in the US. There’s blood, decapitation, etc. Up until VERY recently (i.e. weeks) there was no higher rating than MA15 in the land down-under. You are likely playing a scrubbed version that would be similar to what is sold in Germany.

There's also the option to turn a facility into a brothel, as the game goes on..

Can't you also kill anyone, including children? Not to mention the "being able to marry, have sex, and have children" part.

Don't forget all the BEER!

We've got the blood, haven't seen the decapitations yet, but it's early days so far. We probably don't have a censored version as Steam is generally pretty upfront about what version you're getting. Plus we're not quite at German levels of censorship, it's still fairly rare for us to get a cut-down game.

I guess I just haven't dug far enough into the game so far, but it certainly seems pretty tame so far. I just find some classification decisions puzzling sometimes, like the classification board is completely tone deaf. I find it hilarious that Doctor Who continually escapes with a PG rating over here when I'm certain I would have found that way more terrifying as a youngster than something like Fable III.

Anyway, dreaded continuity and all that, please disregard my bafflement!

Can you English-language natives explain this joke? Someone forwarded it to me and I don't get it :/

"What's the difference between a prison guard and a new prisoner? One clicks locks... "

And one ... locks clicks ? What? What is going on >_<

Eh, you can't really blame RPS. That's like blaming the host of a party that a few guests turn out to be a**holes.

You can blame the host of the party when they don't ask the assholes to leave.

I know. That was a bad comparison.

I've got to stop reading the image threads I subscribe to before checking the web comics I read. People tend cross post and then spoil the drama.

I just realized that the redundant subtitle of FTL: Faster Than Light points to the pun of FTL also standing for "for the loss". Appropriate for a rogue-like (especially the way I play it).

Rye-on-Rye is so good, but so dangerous!

Dangerous is correct. All I remember from my first night with it is the feeling of shame.
