Just hit the hard tracks, didntcha...

Extreme actually. I just end up getting more frustrated than satisfied.

As is common with me, I'm a bit late to the party, but I'd still love to see some of your ghosty things kicking my ass! I'll probably be sending a few friend requests out, so if you see my request pop up, you'll know why.

I'm still playing every now and then for as long as my frustration levels allow (those extreme tracks are brutal). Feel free to add me.

Ditto.

The game's all like, "Hey, I bet you thought those Hard tracks were tough, huh? Well, now drive up this vertical cliff face".

Oops!

Hah, in my favorite topics list, they were back to back, and I guess I clicked the wrong topic that started with a "T".:)

I've just discovered that this game is an excellent one to play while listening to podcasts. Somehow, the finesse of balancing the bike requires just enough concentration to where the game's engaging in the motorskills department, but my brain is still paying very close attention to the podcast.

I play now and then when I have nothing else to do, mostly playing the user made tracks. I have something around 120 medals (maybe a few less) which is good enough for me. I got to the point that I was banging my head against the wall trying to beat some levels so am happy just trying out new stuff every week or two.

The official Redlynx XBLA-themed tracks are pretty disappointing. I can't help but think they totally phoned them in or actually had some users make them. The only one worth checking out really is the Wreckateer one, and even so that's not even real Trials gameplay.

And it's getting new DLC on Xbox.

Yes! My pact with the devil worked!

The only way I will look at this DLC is if they have some of the really open, flowing tracks. Those are awesome. The super-technical ones can die in a fire.

Not good. I put close to 12 hours into this game on xbox. That may not seem like much but, given how averse I am to turning my xbox on, that's probably equivalent to hundreds of hours on pc. This is going to cut into my precious TF2 and Diablo time.

The Trials HD content is included. More not good.

I will absolutely double dip.

Damn I love this game.

I will stick with the Xbox with this one. I don't want to accidentally destroy my PC in a fit of rage.

Anybody got the Origins of Pain DLC? Any good? It's on sale (along with the main game). The DLC is 200 MS points.

I kind of burnt myself out on the game over a couple of weeks of intense playing right at release, but I might dip the toe back in at some point.

I picked up Trials HD on the cheap because I loved Evolution so much.

HD is way more f*cked, way earlier. "Medium" is misleading.

Having gotten every achievement in Trials HD, that gives me hope for Evolution, and I may try it someday.

Today is not that day.

No games make me glad I haven't caught the achievement bug like Trials games.

Kinda sad that I have over 53k without trying, though...

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will contain all the content of the original, best-selling XBLA game Trials Evolution.

In addition, all of the single player tracks and skill games from Trials HD will be found in Trials Evolution -- effectively doubling the content offering with two complete games, neither of which have ever before been available on PC.

Great, two games of pain for the price of one.

Trials Evo Gold is available for pre-order on steam, which grants you access to the beta right away. Looks and plays just fine, nothing there that suggests it's a beta... Slight warning, it uses Uplay as a gamehub, even though you bought it on steam. No steamworks integration, so inviting people for multiplayer is kind of a hassle. Still, one of the best games on 360 combined with the older Trials HD now on the PC, what's not to like? Anyway, friend me up on steam if you'd like to do multiplayer!

This is the type of game that never gets old. Even though I cracked out on it on the 360 for weeks I will be double dipping on this one just to have it in my Steam library (when the Steam summer sale comes along).
