League Of Legends Catch All

It was a rocky start against Team SuperDunk down in the bot lane, but then this happened:

Also, for those who have the full replay, you may view it to see how Smite Ryze halts their invade without so much as lifting a finger.

black raven has been playing alot of supports

Legit team fight.

I'm glad Dyni is a member of the Hook City shirt club now. Just don't forget to pay my grab taxes.

Hehe I recorded that part too. Dragon was such a trap!

I played support like twice in a row. I usually end up being one in solo queue cause no one wants to support...

So rawls linked me this, thought it was amusing considering the people involved on the team that is not doing the streaming.

Draek, Dyni, Raven, Cath and Complex

Wow we don't get to hear the other side that often.

interesting, too bad they are hard to listen to.

Vi is really fun in the jungle when your lanes aren't all getting sh*t on. Clears soooo quickly that you can keep pace with solo lanes, and she isn't very mana hungry. If your lanes can hold out while you farm up 1k (around level 5-6 for solos) and grab Mobility Boots, you'll be in great shape.

She's a great split pusher and counter jungler, and team fights pretty decently too.

You know how sometimes, in the public Queue you go in without a true tank and it works?

Not yesterday.

I have been tinkering about with TF for a carry. Nothing fancy, your typical Glass cannon auto attack build with AP as an oh sh*t if people build a lot of Thornmails. He gets beefy with LS, Crit, and AS boosts.

Our team was Me as TF bot, Blitz top, a Jungling Jax, and Malazar in the middle. Lux was supposed to support me, but maybe had Taco Bell for Lunch and figured what was to be a quick evacuation was better spent moaning for a fortnight (TLDR version, she was 10 minutes late to help me).

The other team had 3 tanks Volibear, Alistar, and Shyvana. If there was any question if tankiness still breaks damage in that game, it was answered. Just a slaughter, losing every team fight.

Side Note, post patch I am loving Brand. Boosts to AP damage have made him a beast again. Letting fly with his ult in a jungle or river gank will wipe a team.

boosts to AP damage? I think i missed something.

Nerfs to MR, a lot more high AP items, Changing it so people cannot get a lot of defensive bonus as a secondary mastery tree, etc.

The new defensive mastery tree, burying the Armor and MR 1 layer in has made a big difference early game.

Why can't we have one of theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese?!?!?!

I would so pay $10 for that. Announcer packs would be awesome, even if they weren't quite as awesome as a Bastion one.

you pick blitzcrank and get: http://www.dota2wiki.com/images/6/61...
yeah, that would be nice.

I just wish dota2's gameplay was better T_T or at least more approachable.

From a few days ago. Good job Frate!

moon bounce too strong.

-_-

In all seriousness, while that's funny, how much does anyone *really* care about Kill Stealing? I've been playing Irelia and Talon a bunch, and really enjoying them, but both of them have abilities that really make it quite easy to pick up a kill in a team fight. I'm generally so focused on making sure the other team is dying that I don't worry about who "should" get the kill, but I've gotten yelled at a few times for it. Last time, I was something like 17-5-7 with Talon at the end of the game and was getting yelled at by a guy who was like 4-5-4. Doesn't that low assist count mean he wasn't really losing many kills to me?

The only time I care is when it's really blatant and obvious the target isn't getting away and i'm at a point in my build where i really need the gold to turn the corner. Ex: fighting in bot lane as Malzahar, I dump my entire combo on someone and while I've got him locked down with no one else in sight friendly Nunu comes walking up and gets the kill with a single auto-attack. Just unnecessary.

I've been out of LoL for a while now, but I still watch tourneys and enjoy the discussion. I think I can answer this one.

If there's ever a question of the target getting away with a sliver of health, secure the kill. If the kill is assured, though, the idea is to try to feed those kills to whoever in the vicinity can make the best use of the gold (usually an AP or AD carry).

Of course, that's the team strategy aspect. The emotional aspect of feeling fulfilled by earning the kill when you put in the damage... that just depends on maturity, which as we know LoL pubbies have in spades.

"Kill secured"

That's all you say

What the video doesn't show is the three ganks on karthus middle to start the game to get dyni fed. And like Cyranix mentioned it's more that you feel ownership of the kill because of the work you put into it. I personally like playing jungle, specifically nautilus because I can gift wrap other people kills with a nice little bow/anchor. I've played in many games where i get only 1-2 kills but have 1-2 deaths and 15 assists.

It's more to help the team, to get someone who is gear dependent the gold they need to get to the point where they can kill anyone. If I get the adc three kills and he can buy a bf sword, then murders the next person that I engage for them before they can kill me I have done myself a favor by getting him fed. If I got the first three kills and had some extra health or armor, I may stay alive longer, but I'm not going to have the damage to kill the other adc, and maybe not stop him from killing my adc. So then we just turn into a double kill.

Yeah, I wasn't actually upset about that kill. It was just hilarious, largely because Astro Nautilus just casually bounced over and dealt the last 20 damage.

It's better to get your carries the kill, but it's never worth it for a support to stop attacking if the kill isn't absolutely inevitable.

OK, that all makes sense.

People in public just like to Female Doggo. I play Brand and Gangplank a lot, they have DOT effects that means I get a lot of "stolen" kills on players.

You get Female Doggoed at for stealing kills, you get Female Doggoed at for not coming to help. When you jungle you get Female Doggoed at for not ganking enough, you get Female Doggoed at if you fall behind (the natural consequence of chilling in bushes for hours on end scratching your ass waiting for the lane to finally get into some semblance of a position for a gank).

Just press "O" and mute the complainers, and play.

Carrot is correct, KS stands for Kill Secured. I'd rather my team got the kill at any cost. Pros I've watched are crazy aggressive, not hesitating to flash immediately affter someone to secure a kill. Even if my support gets the kill, winning the fight means I get to stay and farm and the enemy carry doesn't because they're dead or alone and have to be more cautious. It's still a win for me.

Then again, even when I play "support" I get all the kills, so I'm slightly biased.

Isn't the total amount of gold gained by the team higher for a shared kill than when just one person gets the kill?

First of all, that was super boring. What is their supposed content of their channel?

Also, why did you guys surrender? You had that sh*t.

I think we're talking about a situation where multiple people have already contributed, but you want to let the killing blow -- and thus the majority gold -- go to the carries.

I blame dyni, he always wants us to surrender and move on.

Since it's used pretty regularly in our little group:
