Fringe Catch-All - You Are My Favorite Thing, Fringe. My Very Favorite Thing.

So how did Anna Torv get her job?

Thanks, Trueheart!

Just checking my DVR and it appears Science Channel will be having a Fringe-o-thon on Christmas Day.

Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la.

Damn, her accent makes her so much hotter.

Ah, Fringe Friday. An actual reason to appreciate Mayan prophetic inaccuracies.

I want to have her babies.

A bit of fringe science and that may be possible.

Here's a non-Fringe related video of, you guessed it, Anna Torv!

Spoiler:

Not only has she still got it, she's apparently never lost it.

You're welcome

Side note: I now need to find streaming of The Secret Life of Us.

Well now I have to watch w/e this show is.

Alright... this show is wrapping up on such fantastic notes. Loved the answers in this episode, and yes - it tugged at the heart strings.

3 hours of Fringe is all that's left, and so far, I've got nothing but respect for how they're looking to wrap it up.

Spoiler:

The Donald reveal was fantastic, and previews of Walter in the immersion tank?

Yes, please!

Here's to more Fringe!

Yay! So good! I'm all giddy!

Here's an interview with the delightful Anna Torv from 2010 on Craig Ferguson.

Enjoy!

Past couple episodes have been real solid. Looks like they're wrapping things up with style.

Here's the 2012 Comic Con panel

Great episode!

Yeah it was. I thought the actor playing Donald was Ewan McGregor at first. I didn't recognize him

Spoiler:

with hair.

Well, at least...

Spoiler:

Nina should feel proud about how she went out. I think she got to Windmark a little bit there.

The salute to Monty Python was just fantastic

I really need to try some acid.

We were groaning a little at how they started accurately portraying an acid trip before falling back into "Hollywood Acid". There were a couple of bits there though that made me think the writers had dropped a tab or two in their time.

Here's one of the best clips from the 2012 Comic Con panel that you probably didn't watch (and if you did, well, enjoy it again) - something Anna Torv learned from playing the character Olivia

The delayed realization of why the people in the audience are chuckling is great.

Merry Fringemas! Science channel has a season 2 marathon today.

Man, I miss Charlie...

Spoiler:

Also, I'm still not sure I understand the logistics behind the Shape Shifter / Charlie transition.

Nurse SS attacks Charlie, shots are fired, Peter shows up, sees Charlie standing over nurse body with SS device on the ground. Peter takes the device (hands it to Broyles at the end of the episode), yet at the close of the end sequence we see Charlie disposing of Charlie's body.

So somehow, the nurse body transformed into a Charlie body?

The transition should have resulted in 2 Charlies, not a Charlie/nurse combo. If she was just unconscious/feigning, then yeah, maybe, but the device had been taken at that point. I find it crazy that the SS did not attempt to stop Peter from taking the device (saying the Charlie that he saw was the SS), but it couldn't have not been the SS, could it?

The end of episode even states that the device is broken, and following episodes display the rapid decay of the SS Charlie due to lack of mercury, which we can assume could be handled if he could shift to another form, but doesn't have a device.

So... bad editing/writing? I'm sure there are more holes in the story, and with as good as it is, I can overlook them, but this is Charlie, man...

Man...

Enjoy this video where Anna Torv wraps a goat for Oxfam Unwrapped.

Enjoy one of my favorite Broyles moments - his speech from the first episode of Season 2

"Bug girl has got a crush on Charlie...."

Hell yes.

Can't wait until we

Spoiler:

kick the lizards asses. :D

Just caught up with the last 2 weeks episodes yesterday after travelling for the holidays. Great stuff. Also definitely some Monty Python-esque acid trip for Walter there.

There's really only 2 left?

Can someone help me figure out where the hell I left off? Last I saw

Spoiler:

They had activated the machine something or other and I think it ended in the other universe or the future with uh.. I think it was Peter, alone?

Frig it's been a while.
