Post a picture of your pet!

So we took our pup, Oberon to obedience training yesterday. It was the second class and he's been doing fairly well. Oberon (who is the fluff ball several posts above) will be a very big boy. I had him weighed at the vet when we got his third distemper shot and he was 31.5 pounds at just over 12 weeks. The other two dogs in the class are a Chihauhau and a Pekinese, both 5 months old. They weigh 5 and 4.5 pounds respectively. Oberon gained 6 pounds in less than two weeks. I had to laugh. He played well with them, however. He's a very chill dog with an even temperment.

At home with my son (who is 10). This was taken when we first brought him home. He is now 6 pounds bigger and getting stronger every day. We've already started the submission excercise thing as we won't be able to do it when he's full grown. I tell people he's part lamb (soft, soft fur) part Godzilla.

I love that I read this bit of text as you talking about your son and not the dog.

My addiction to pet pictures has been satisfied. You are free to go. *unlocks handcuffs*

My cat Lasher loves being hand-served her water. It also provides opportunities to bite my finger.

Finger -> Cat ?

One of our cats does the same thing (minus the finger biting). Every night, before filling the communal water bowl, I give him first crack at the pitcher of water.

My cats love their fountain.

But the male in our pair definitely loves biting. I like to think they are "love bites" since he's never broken the skin, and usually does it when he's getting his belly rubbed.

I had a dog that if you held out a glass of water he would empty it... any time and any amount of water. If the glass was somewhat tall, he would jam his snout all the way to the bottom to lick out every last drop. Very strange... but cute.

Here he is by the way with my sister's pack. His name was Indiana. He's the one on the right.

To everyone here who's lost pets: although it sucks to lose them, you eventually reach a point where you remember only the good things and how your life was better because of them. I couldn't imagine life without pets.

That is one hell of a pack.

That is a lot of GSDs.

good sled dogs?

Never thought of trying that.

They're great at playing ball, barking at horses, and begging for treats though.

This is begging for a caption, but I haven't figured it out yet.

"Is it going down now?" Santa Hat asks.

Mr. White looks over towards the kitchen.

"It's on."

I see it as:

"You've had enough time with the Santa hat! Hand it over or there will be trouble."

They've gotten Sparky. I may be the only one left...

Pixie is not actually terrorizing the Christmas tree:

(My image editor understands "red eye removal" but not "laser cat eyes").

Note tempting box from ThinkGeek lurking in the background.

Missy knows how to stay warm on a cold winter morning...

This is pretty much a nightly occurance:

This is what we have to deal with during dinner:

Is this animal abuse?

If we laugh at Slinky Cat then it's not.

Too funny! Reminds me of my dogs. Bo (the one on the right) loves laying between your legs and Phoebe (on the left) is always somewhere close

This morning she had a failed jump to the headboard and landed on my face while I was in bed, scratching my nose.

She meant to do that.

At the dog park. Yuki, our Husky mix, was beside herself with glee, and I don't think she stopped running the whole time.
