Just got offered a job in Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan (it's a border town, as in cut in half by the provincial border).

Any Goodjers out there or in Edmonton?

Not me, but congrats!

You can migrate the account to your other. I think that will solve your problem. "Transfer content licenses" http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-l...

How do you arrange your physical game library?

On a shelf next to my new TV in the man-cave:) It seems like last time I did this there was a registration where I made one console my main/default console.

Also, that did it - thanks!

Alright, more Lloydminster research. Anyone go to the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)? My future plans is to take a broadcasting course of some kind and they have a program that would fit me.

You're mixing your journalism experience with broadcasting so you can make a series of youtube videos of you dressing up in various outfits right. Then casually inserting them into your posts

Please move your fanfic to P&C, at the very least.

You can't censor the press. Attica! Attica! Attica!

"You called the the thunder, now feel the boom." Anyone recognise that line? I can't remember where I heard it.

Closest I'm seeing is Tombstone, but that line is minus "now feel the boom".

Then there's the quote from Terrans in Starcraft, which ends with "now reap the whirlwind".

I know that line is parodied in Jim Carrey's "How the Grinch stole Christmas".

It sounds like something Mohammad Ali would have said. Maybe a paraphrase?

Maybe. But I've got a feeling I saw it in a bad film. Or rather, from an intentionally ridiculous character.

I've been saying it for a two or three years, I think.

WWE?

This is the scene I was thinking of.

Cars? Sounds like something "Chick Hicks" might have said.

Lip reading is always an option too, sometimes with better results than the source material

AHAHAHA! *wipes eyes* Thanks for posting that. I needed that after a crummy day or two. What fun *sneaks off to watch it again*!
*I'm grabbin' a routine vaccination*

(Honestly, the creation of that video excuses everything else that Friday has caused. )

I think that must be it. Thanks for finding the clip, Dany.

My dad recently renovated his home theater with a new turntable, receiver, and speakers. He wants some 'freshly pressed' vinyls for Christmas. His gently used collection features The Doors, The Beatles, Cream, Steely Dan, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, The Grateful Dead, and other artists that I'm forgetting. I went out on a limb and bought him The Black Keys "El Camino" and some other classics that I know he enjoys. As far as I know he hasn't enjoyed any music made after 1975. Any chance he enjoys the Black Keys?

That sounds like my Dad's old record collection and he LOVES the Black Keys, so I think you'll be safe with that choice.

If not, well, I suppose I could take it off your hands...

Wow, that's my parents' record collection too. Maybe I should grab a Black Keys CD for my dad.

Remove everything from that list except Moody Blues and that's my dad's collection.

Add an unhealthy dose of deep progressive rock, line the walls of a man cave with wooden shelving, and that's my dad's vinyl collection.

Careful. He'll ruin the needle when he puts it on the turn table.

And doesn't everyone like (or at least tolerate) the Black Keys?

When I played Rocksmith I thought the track sounded a bit odd for the Black Eyed Peas.

He has no particular love for the medium of vinyl. My folks are the worst hipsters ever.

Is VirtualBox still the best free virtualization program on Windows? I just want to be able to test old version of Internet Explorer, and I don't really like/trust how IETester works, so I want an XP and Win7 virtual machine to be able to run (I'm on Win8 now).
