Borderlands 2 Catch-All

Honestly, I think this game would be fantastic on the WiiU; you could use the GamePad to manage your inventory while on the move.

That would be brilliant. Especially if you could switch between inventory and map.

I pretty much burned through the main storyline of the Torgue DLC. Are there any side quests I ought to do? Anything particularly quick/easy or with a good reward?

I'll suggest Walking the Dog from Tiny Tina. It might not be that easy (it's an escort mission... gotta keep the dog alive!), but the mission objective texts are hilarious, it's Tine Tina, and the weapon reward is various shades of awesome depending on your character. It's become a standard weapon on my Anarchy Mechromaner since the loss of accuracy isn't a big deal with it.

Sounds like a plan. Thank you, my man.

Big patch for 360 users today. We can finally reset our challenges

Notes here.

This one has hit me a number of times (almost every time I switch characters or switch between first play-through and TVHM).

*Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause skill points to be reset when loading a character.

Anyone here tried that creature dome DLC that got shoved into steam a few days ago? The text looks rather bland to me ...

Not yet, waiting for Steam sale on it. I think that was the Gamestop "exclusive" pre-order DLC?

Skill-check is one thing. Wasting my time is another. I shouldn't be penalized by having to spend even more time if I don't have enough time in the first place to sit down and finish a mission in one long chunk.

This is a critical design approach that has steadily eroded my interest in playing BL2 in a solo and co-op capacity, but especially solo. I'll get around to finishing the core campaign eventually and paid for the season pass. Just need to be careful about being suckered in by the sunk cost bias. Another casualty for the backlog!

Correct, and it's the same as the Bandit and Hyperion domes, except with the creatures. You do get a pretty sweet Moxxie rocket launcher for completing all the rounds though. Also worth noting, that if you're playing co-op, only the host needs the content for the entire party to partake. At least that's how it is on 360.

Sadly the PC version doesn't support that feature.

Finally got a Bee Shield. Even after the patch it still kicks plenty of ass.

I'm passing on it, myself. I don't really enjoy killing creatures. I prefer killing robots. They're less about aiming at fast-moving targets and more about tactical dismemberment.

I need to play Dead Space again.

A feature, if you want to call it that, is that it is located in the middle of the Wildlife Conservation area (It isn't a quick travel location, there is walking involved) and can be used as a mid-way save point for those who do not have the time to complete the story mission there (I believe I ended up doing that once, myself). Otherwise there is a particular Thresher there that is fun to take down, and there is the, previously mentioned, super nice rocket launcher to boot.
Personally I think that they are overcharging for the collector's edition extras: 4heads and a useless(?) grenade (despite it being the only item in the game that levels with you, I still haven't found a use for it in my Xbox copy of the game) for $5, I think it should be $2.

Eldon of Azure:

There's a save point there whether or not you get the Creature Dome bonus content. I do think BL2 could be a bit more obvious about where the save points are. I think too many people just don't know where those are at the moment.

New DLC: Sir Hammerlocks Big Game Hunt
No information outside some revealed trophies on PS3.

Well I like the sound of it, though it likely means lots of critters.

Also means there's only one more DLC for the remains of S&S to come back for vengence on the bandits that put them out of business. I'm thinking they'll miss their chance.

Yup, hence why it's sale fodder

Some more leaked info on the new DLC here. Includes some shots of new skins and heads for the characters.

Danger! Excitement! Mustaches! It's time for another episode of Vault Hunter Adventures, featuring Sir Hammerlock! In this week's tale, our hard-boiled heroes travel to the savage continent of Aegrus! Their goal? To uncover the most exotic creatures Pandora has to offer, and give 'em the old one-two!

It would appear that the new DLC is suppose to release "Before the World Ends." So probably some time this week. Kinda ridiculous release schedule lately, considering the Torgue DLC released, what, 2 weeks, or so, ago? And that the season pass was supposed to last until June 2013.

I think the season pass was a guarantee that it wouldn't go beyond June 2013, not a goal. I think it was just there to reassure people that as long as you stay interested in the game for that long, you'll get to see all the DLC you paid for.

We had better be able to play as Hammerlock for a bit, or I will be severely disappointed.

A new class in the vein of Hammerlock would be awesome! Though I can imagine he'd be a lot like Z3ro or Mordecai.

Unless his action skill is throwing an exploding robotic arm...

What about throwing the arm out to summon a giant thresher?

Still wonder what the next class will be. They've been silent on it since confirming they were working on one. Not that they've been all that talkative since launch anyhow...

Bleh. I hate fighting stalkers. Well, maybe if it's huge I can actually hit it.

Borderlands 2 - September 18th
Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty - October 16th
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage - November 20th

So yeah, they have been releasing things at the rate of about one a month. Sometime in the next week would be right on schedule.

They are coming out quickly... wonder if there'll be a season 2.

I wouldn't doubt it. The DLC is created by a (few?) different developer(s) it seems. At least it appeared that way in the credits since I can't find the actual dev info online.

thanks for the code Eldon...actually my first golden keys ever.

Tried one, and it's like it went through my inventory, picked something, and offered me 2 uber versions of that.
