Wraith X! First maxed UR.

I got the saber AR. It's pretty cool. I'm hoping the more you upgrade, the better the rate of fire gets. If not, it's still fun. Also, loved the N7 Typhoon.

My sniping days could be numbered now that I think about it. Also, Geth Engie helped me get bronze solo extractions. That geth turret with flame thrower is pretty nifty!!

Nice! I'm nearly there with the BW, but my unlock rate has slowed to a crawl. Nothing but level IV ammo lately.

edit: it's pretty easy to see what you have and haven't unlocked in ME3MP, by the way: just take the following URL and sub your own username / platform into the string.

Ooooh, you're on 360, there don't seem to be many of us left playing this. Let's see . . . per your profile, you have 98 friends, am I cool enough to be the last one? FR sent for ME3 goodness and all.

Link to my inventory N7 page; every "not released in the last update" gold weapon at X, except Acolyte VII and Piranha VIII, yet still no @#$!!! Saber or Valkyrie.

Sure thing, I'll add you up as soon as I'm back on the 'ol box tonight.

Sweet lord, I just saw the overview tab. Have I really played 429 hours of this?

While I love the stats on the N7 page, I really don't need to know that I've played the game as much as I have. Though I'd like to thank you for making me think my 283 hours now seems, you know, totally reasonable and all.

And here I was, entertaining the thought that I might be turning into a filthy casual as I get older...

I hadn't played ME3 since moving to my new PC and I had a hell of a time getting it running. Turns out I had to disable Origin in game and run in windowed mode. How are multi games coordinated? Is there any reason for me to run ME3 via Steam so I get the Steam overlay?

That stat page is awesome!! Nice way of tracking what's going on. And also, knowing what is considered a rare, an uncommon, etc, so I'll know what packs to buy. Thanks for the link!!

So, earn a 5 wave survival medal on Firebase Condor this weekend? Seems pretty easy.

Yup. Should be fairly quick to achieve.

Any Shepards around to kill some Geth/Collector/Reaper/Cerberus forces? I can't defend the galaxy (get challenges done) by myself, you know....

I know I've played with Milkman a couple of times, but I'm also on 360 as well. I got a group of 4-5 people that I still play with about once a week or so.

Black Widow X. *sigh* I don't even have it at level 1!!!!!!

The social site is great for seeing things like that I've maxed all the Rares, but am not even close with Uncommons. Did I post that just to show off my Black Widow X? No, of course not!

Fraid not. All weapons improve on only a set group of statistics as they upgrade. I believe the list is weight, damage, and spare ammo. I might be forgetting a fourth thing?

Usually I recruit from Steam, as I find most PC users (myself among them) don't bother to run Origin except to run Origin games. So yeah, I'd say it may be worth it.

Note that you have to run Origin from Steam and then launch ME3 from Origin (from Steam). Launching ME3 direct from Steam won't get you the Steam overlay, or at least it didn't in the past.

Well, if I could give you a level or two, I would.

But, when you do get one, and it'll happen, I kinda like it on the Asari Huntress, because the class is a little weird, and doesn't seem as tied to the Cloak -> Shoot -> Reload/Cooldown -> Repeat rhythm as other Infiltrators.

This challenges take too looooooooooong!!!!! ....on bronze solo. hehehe

Unlocked the N7 Shadow last night, wow that's a lot of fun to play.

So I've been spending some time playing multi and I've gotta say, it's a ton of fun. After my first game I jumped from level 1 to level 7, and only a few more games has me already at level 14. It's nice that at least class advancement goes so fast. The roulette wheel of loot is kind of interesting too, though the one-offs are pretty much pointless at Bronze level. Seems like it's almost time to give Silver level a shot.

Gratz, but too bad it's that one. Maybe things are different at level 10 but I've never really seen a reason to pick the Wraith over the Eviscerator or Claymore.

Her cloak is bugged, which might explain it.

Well got the weekend challenge on my second map. The first map just had guys doing nothing and died. Which sucks, because the whole squad has to survive the 5 rounds. Second round actually had decent people so we all survived the whole 11 rounds. Rewarded with the SMG.

Yeah, once you get the hang of it, you can start going to silver matches around level 10 or so. Keep in mind that leveling up in exponential, so those last 2 or 3 levels take a bit more time.

ProTip: stick with Recruit packs until all your common items are maxed out, then move on to Veteran packs until all your uncommons are maxed out, then move onto Spectre and Premium Specter packs. This has been the standard MO from all the hardcore MP players as it seems to increase the chances of Rare items appearing and not being knocked off by an uncommon or common.

Actually, it's a great little gun. It's not the best in class, no - I wouldn't take it over the Claymore if I was considering the one-shot-wonder in the first place - but for its weight it's quite good, definitely better than the Eviscerator. It's my go-to weapon on classes like the Kroguard that I want a close-range but lighter weapon on.

I've never gotten around to reading the stuff on rolling chances, but I think this is a good idea just for the sake of getting weapon mods, which you will use all the time on different guns. Also for the sake of getting Gear (though that's only available in Uncommon and Rare varieties).

I gave the Wraith to Aria in single-player because she seems like the sort who would carry a gold-plated shotgun.

Anyone else find this weekend's challenge to be stupidly easy? We've had challenges in the past that require multiple full squad extractions but you can complete this one almost before the big bads start showing up.

I completed the full round with my Krogan freighttrain, which brought him up to level 20... unfortunately it took a little longer than usual to get back to the lobby and I lost the credits and XP I'd earned, so he's back to 19. This is the second or third time this has happened. Normally I'd be a little irked but... meh. It was a Bronze round and I got my Commendation Pack, so whatever.

Yeah, that bug with losing credit & XP gain seems to have been introduced by the last patch. Urgh. But as you say, the challenge system seems unaffected when it happens, at least.

Valiant V for me this week. Hurricane X, you have eluded me again, but you will be mine!

Challenge done, thanks to Kloreep. I got a Valiant II. Wish it was something new, but I can't complain. I like my Valiant.

It's my favourite weapon. I can't wait to get it to level X. It's amazing how good it is.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. I've been mixing it up a bit so far, for lack of any better ideas. I just swapped my assault rifle out for a Raptor sniper rifle on my Adept as well, and I'm absolutely loving it. It's a weapon I never used in SP but has been working incredibly well for me in MP. I'm still undecided what to use as a back up weapon though.

My experience so far with pub groups has been pretty good. They aren't all terribly coordinated, but I've only been in one group so far that was so bad as to actually fail the mission. And the lack of team speak means I don't have to listen to them, which is a plus. Is there a vent channel that people use for the higher-level games? I haven't been on the GWJ vent server in forever.

I think a vent channel was set up a while back, but I don't tend to use it. The in-game voice chat isn't 100% reliable (it seems to be consistently bugged between me and Kexx, for instance) but it often works.
