Jumping in front, due to timezones

7 Black Swans a spending during the Winter Sale. She's so going to take your money with that face.

*pays up*

I think I'm pretty safe this year. The big games that I wanted to get I already nabbed in the Summer Sale, have no interest in, or got cheaper on a different website.

May I actually survive my first Steam gauntlet? God knows the girlfriend would appreciate it.

I've got a $50 steam wallet card loaded, and I'm ready for dirt-cheap prices on X-Com, Dishonored, Bioshock Infinite pre-order and Skyrim.

If you get X-Com, I DEMAND that I play against you.

Actually, that goes to anyone that owns the game on PC. If you want to get murdered, let me know My squad of flying space soldiers are more than happy to oblige.

Hmm, pre-loading the Steam Wallet my be an idea for damage limitation.. but I may feel too... constrained for my gifting/selfish greed dual-personalities

Other than Mark of the Ninja and Torchlight 2, I'm not actively going after anything. It'll probably (hopefully) be a cheaper sale overall. My pile is dangerously close to turning into an avalanche.

I had some Best Buy gift cards that I converted

I'm looking for more 4-pack gifting shenanigans

We don't have Best Buy, or Steam Gift cards over here, sadly. Otherwise that would have been my Nephew gifting sorted for the foreseeable future.

Looking forward to using some Steam Wallet monies! I mainly want a small discount on AC III and Farcry III. I am starting to get a huge backlog of games to play and less time to play them!

I'd love to see Torchlight 2 on sale as well.

That and Kingdoms of Amalur, but I think that's a long shot.

I think I'm just grabbing DLC to round out some of my games and then gifting things to other people. Fun times!

I'm mostly hoping for Anno 2070 and Skyrim to get even cheaper than before, but we'll see. The last sale felt like a dud, so my expectations are lowish.

I like the idea of the Anno games, just never end up playing them much beyond the first hour or so. Not sure if 2070 would be any different.

Still hoping for smoking deals on Skyrim and Sleeping Dogs. Dishonored, too, but I doubt that will go too low given how new it is. Anything else is a terrible thing that will make my wallet weep and groan, wearing sackcloth and ashes while gnashing its teeth and wailing. And lo, there was darkness bonus.

Wow! How did I miss this thread?

For me, though I have tons on my wishlist ( again, read my signature ), I plan on giving, giving, giving - so have your wishlists up to date, because when I see something pop up on sale that I think others will like, I look through my friends list to see who wanted it. So, if you aren't on my friends list, feel free to add me.

the thread kind of morphed from the Autumn sale thread by cunningly changing title at will! muwha!

Maybe I need more goodjer friends on them thar list..

Bolstering my own list now!

Looking for Dark Souls cheap. That's all I want for Christmas.

They can't do any more damage to me than they did during the summer and halloween sales..... No, I'm safe.... I'm SURE of it!!!

Dark Souls PC cheap...my only wish. Never quite finished on console...i just never visit my console anymore etc....

I'm sure if i buy it on christmas sale that i will play sometime in 2013 or 2014...right?

Oh hell who am i kidding...just give it to me on a good sale...i'll at least install it!

Guess it is too early to hope for Assassin's Creed 3 or Far Cry 3 to go on sale.

Everybody pauses and stares at me
I have no Dark Souls on the pile as you can see
I don't know just who to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve is as plain as it can be!

All I want for Christmas
is some Dark Souls cheap,
Dark Souls cheap,
see, some Dark Souls cheap.

Gee, if I could only
have some Dark Souls cheap,
then I could wish you
"Happy Steam Sale."

I was going to get Dishonored and X-Com, but previous experiences lead me to believe I should bide my time and wait for the GOTY editions. At least I get the game and all DLCs in one neat purchase. Plus, my backlog's so big, I'm running out of games to play any time soon.
Must... remain... strong...

That's gold right there! ^_^

Yeah, hoping to score Anno 2070: Deep Ocean, X-com would also be great.

8 Crazy Nights?

Yep, you're doing it right. Welcome to Steam! It's not just a game service, it's an albatross of unrealized gaming pleasure hanging around your neck!

Heck, I don't even have the time for my mountain-sized GOG backlog, let alone my continent-sized Steam one.

Yes; but at least I'm not creating the waste from the boxes and discs we used to have to buy.

Unless you imagine some minimum wage Valve employee opening boxed copies of every single game sold and sending out the game codes. You thought that huge landfill out back of Valve was to store Gabe's moneyhats? It's empty boxes.
