When Steph Brown as Batgirl comes by to beat you up, could you tell her I said hi and that we really miss her over in the NuDC52U?

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I was thinking I needed to draft a bunch of info from scratch today for a side business I want to work on, but it turns out I wrote everything up and forgot about it like four years ago, so I just need to edit and update a bit.

Hooray for unintentional convenience!

I love that MIT has some of the things I've been interested in as courses on OpenCourseWare.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow (which i also love, but that's not why I'm here), so I'm looking in the fridge to decide what to have for lunch that would also use up stuff in the fridge that will otherwise go off.

I see....

A pot of leftover refried beans
Leftover already-shredded cheese
Half a packet of bacon

Then inspiration hits me.

I actually let out a girlish squeak of joy! CONGRATS ON THE OFFER!

Holy Crap I like this song. My girlfriend introduced me to this band and I think this song is great. It gives me those rare little chills like Aqueduct's Five Star Day did the first time I heard it ^.^

I read this on Twitter last night and actually yelled out in response. Confused the Hell out of the puppy who was passed out on the couch beside me. I am so incredibly happy for you two. You've both endured a ton the last couple of years and if there is such a thing as karma, you are owed a swimming pool's worth at this point. I hope this is the beginning of a massive upswing for you.

I have a router, I will be getting a modem in about a week (once my FIL brings it back to Canada from Florida), and then it will only be a few short weeks before I am off of Bell Canada and onto TekSavvy.

Same speed, 4 times the bandwidth for $15 less a month.

My monster-in-law is here in town needing to have some medical testing done (why she needs it belongs in the loathe thread) but to thank us for helping her and taking care of her dog she brought down fresh razor clams from Polly Creek, and we just fried them for breakfast.

That's all kinds of awesome!

I am making a double batch of my black bean chili tonight, half for the house and half for a potluck we are having at work tomorrow

Have you filed a worker compensation claim due to injuries from tripping over Grammies?
