Ooo! Crayon Physics Deluxe is out for iPad and free for the first 24 hours.

Any idea when the timer started? Already showing as $5.49 down here. :(

Yeah, it has the look of $4.99 USD for me. Oh, well.

A pretty good puzzle game Doodle Devil HD is currently free. It is similar to an older game called Alchemy where you combined elements to create new things.

When you combine the Frankenstein and Cthulu elements, it's creates the friendship element...

Awwwwww, cuteness.

Anyone playing Great Big War Game? I have made it to the second map in the tutorial, and I am looking for someone to embarrass me completely with my inadequacies.

Man, TheCounselor and I had a pretty brutal game that had to finish with QI. Neither one of us could hold a lead to use it though. Lots of heavy back and forth. Well played, sir!

Does anyone else have an issue with the notification badge? It seems to always want to show one extra notification for me. If it's my move in one game it'll show a 2. This has persisted through the 6.0.1 hotfix and a reboot.

I've found that I haven't been getting my notifications. I go in, 'then' it refreshes and tells me I have games.

I must be getting yours by mistake. I'll just PM you when I have an extra one.

Just realized I haven't either. Sorry Aristophan!

[Double post for extra sorry.]

Lol, no problem. With these types of games, if someone (including me) doesn't play for a few days, I figure life got in the way. I'm flexible.

Has anyone mentioned Spaceteam in this thread? (I know it came up in the iPhone thread.) If not, get Spaceteam. Get it, and get a couple of friends with iThings, and get them to get it, and then yell at each other for a while. It's awesome.

This. It's especially fun with kids if you've got multiple iThings.

This looks awesome. With three iThings in the house that all share the same Apple ID for App Store purchases, is it possible to set them all up with different Gamecenter IDs to play together in a game like this? Apple's various ID settings for its devices continue to perplex me. Or do we even need to be "online" with each other to play this?

You connect with each other over Bluetooth or local WiFi. We've got two ipads on the same Apple ID and it works like a charm. I don't even think it supports Gamecenter.

Haggis just went on sale to $3.99. Worth it?

I enjoy Haggis the card game, and so I picked it up on the sale. I've only played for a bit, but it looks very nice on my phone. I imagine it would be better on the iPad. I doubt the game will ever be discounted to a very low price, so it's probably a good time to pick it up.

I now very much need to upgrade my iPad. iOS6 won't load on my first generation, so I don't think Baldur's Gate will work for me

I've been looking forward to this. I know what I'll be downloading when I get home tonight!

The developer has indicated they are working on this but yeah for now you are SOL. Sorry.

Go for the eyes, Boo!

Then you're lucky. I'm not sure if this has ever come up, but iOS 6 has done horrors to my device. I have no issue with the maps app or any of that stuff, but my iPad, and for a while my girlfriend's iPhone, would constantly think it was being docked and undocked, thus constantly pausing my music. I have trouble listening to anything without constant interruption. Sometimes I can fix this by charging my iPad so that it is for sure docked, but this doesn't always work. The other issue is that I cannot ever turn my iPad off because docking turns it on. My girlfriend and I only started having this issue since iOS 6, although this is apparently an old issue Apple has never gotten around to fixing. Sometimes it just stops, like it has for my girlfriend.

Completely off-topic, but soo soo frustrating when I paid $800 for a device and the music playing feature I love is useless.

Just got, and highly recommend, Galcon Fusion. Super simple, very fun space RTS for iPad. Multiplayer too, but Ii haven't tried it yet.

Clay Jam is more fun than you might expect at first. It's a roll-things-over game with good controls and cute claymation animation. I've gotten most of the way through the first world. Free, with IAP for currency which is also earned in-game. For the first world or two, you won't want it, but costs seem to escalate as you go through. I'm happy not being a completionist on this one.

Available on iPhone as well as iPad. By FatPebble, distributed by Zynga.

Both my iPad 3 and iPhone 5 are running 6.0, and I have had any problem with music. I listen for about 5 hours a day on average.

I looked on Apple's forums, and found this suggestion:

Settings > Sounds > Next to "Vibrate on Ring", slide off, then on again > Repeat for one below which says "Vibrate on Silent" > Repeat again next to the volume slide bar which says "Change with Buttons".

Several posters said that it worked for them; obviously, I can't verify it.

Holy crap spaceteam is hilarious. My mum delayed my iPhone purchase to make it a Christmas present, but I so wish I had it so we could play three player at my brother's house. Without a copy to play on I fear my sis in law just thinks we are gone a little odd...(though she is busy making Lego).

I disabled the wifi syncing to avoid problems like this. Have you tried disabling that?
