I'll show you a picture of myself if you show one of yours. Deal?

Nope, sorry. Thought it might be that Everquest chick.

Oops, I forgot to make allowances for people stuck in 1999.

Firiona Vie wore much, much less.

Didn't have the faintest idea. Very well done costume.

You are a diehard fan.

Question for everyone: How are you getting your hockey fix on?

Thanks! That reminded me that I got pictures from this year's Halloween back.

I'm the sexy one.

I bought NHL 13 on sale during Cyber Monday and am learning how to play my first sports game since NHL Stanley Cup on the SNES.

Flyers lost to Florida Panthers 3-6, then to Tampa Bay Lightning 3-7, but then I figured out how to pass properly and some other things and Florida beat Boston Bruins 7-3.

So I'm doing good.

Ha. Those are great.

Strangeblades wrote:

Listening to minor league games, rewatching my Stanley Cup DVD, and sobbing uncontrollably as I stab a picture of Bettman repeatedly with the kitchen shears.

What's hockey? Is that some sort of button on the keyboard I'm missing?

Been going to CT Whale games. Hard to beat $25.00 for tickets a few rows from the glass. Got to meet Jeff Beukeboom (he signed my Beukeboom jersey too), cheap food and beer, and I get to check out the Rangers up and comers (Chris Kreider, Christian Thomas, Dylan McIlrath, JT Miller, Ryan Borque).

I go to about 6-12 NHL games a year. This season I've seen more live hockey with the lockout.

Headed up there this Sunday to see Whale take on the Albany Devils.

F1, WRC, CRC, Grand Am, and ALMS. Those seasons all just ended, but most start again in Jan/Feb. For December, Speed is repeating BTCC, DTM, and FIA GT1.

In other words, to hell with the NHL.

WRC was boring this year. Citroën is too good.

I thought about checking out AHL games myself, but it turns out the Philadelphia Phantoms are no longer Philadelphia (and may not even be Phantoms). Should be reasonable to try and find something local, though.

Thanks for reminding me.

There is something seriously wrong about Batman in fishnets.

The look on the Penguin's face in that last panel is priceless.

Poison Ivy is hot

I'm pretty sure he's dressed as Batgirl, not Batman.

The Penguin nails the Gagnam style expression.

Yeah, I didn't go out of my way to watch it, knowing it would just be Loeb win after Loeb win. But the CRC is only six events and I need more rally than that (medical fact).

I'm not sure poison ivy is supposed to have pink highlights...

Also, what's the deal with the hockey rumblings? I've yet to discover what's going on... I just know something's afoot!

I might be pointing out the obvious, but I only recently found out about Speed2.com. Depending on your TV provider you might be able to stream tons of racing coverage.

ESPN3 too. But neither of those are available in Canada, and I've got enough racing to fill what little time I have, that I don't need to fiddle with proxies and such not.

But that's also where the Grand Am and ALMS websites (and Grand Am app) have stepped up: free-to-everyone-everywhere livestreaming of events, plus complete archives of this and past seasons.

Wow! Poison Ivy, Batgirl and Artie Lange? Must have been some party.

Actually, the whole, "we want pics" thing gets creepy when you're asking for sexy pics of someone's friend, IMO..

Tanglebones wrote:

That's why it's entertaining to do. If I really wanted to see hawt pixz of a woman there are a plethora of sites I could go to and find whatever strikes my fancy. Or I could check out the woman who happens to be sitting next to me now. This is a topic about posting pictures of ourselves (I'm in here somewhere) and our friends/family (so's my wife) so you have to expect people to comment on your pictures. Additionally the absurdity of what Milla Jovovich wore in the 5th Element begs even more for the comment to be made.

This isn't 4chan so I made the quip hoping I wouldn't be construed as a creepy old man leering at the computer screen with a light sheen of sweat covering my face.

If you post a picture of an attractive friend of yours in a getup and then say "That's nothing you should have seen her last year!" then surely you would expect someone to reply "pics or it didn't happen"?

If I sound defensive it's because I want to firmly distance myself from the implications in your post Tanglebones, no personal offense taken.
