Why do I want to take NO in my pickem tonight?
I honestly think they have a legit change and everyone else is gonna pile on Atlanta (whos actually not that good).

Can't they just print Jaguars-themed toilet paper, alternating Gabbert and Henne's face on each sheet?
That'd still be better than the blackouts Tampa hands out every week.
All I can say is there appear to be a lot of comparably wealthy teal-colored tarps in the Jacksonville area, because it seems to me a great number of them have season tickets and show up every week, preventing blackouts.
And yet, even with tarps, Everbank holds ~1500 more than Raymond James and sells out.
Tampa needs to tarp down to about Fresno State capacity, then they can sell out.
It's funny just how badly Jacksonville is spanking the other Florida teams in ticket sales. Floridians would rather watch Gabbert lose than Freeman win. :D
And there is what to do in Jacksonville other than watching Gabbert fail? Oh, sorry, Henne fail?
Watch the Gators. Get eaten by gators.
I guess it is less exciting than the bingo halls that Tampa has to compete with.
Hey now, Tampa has the great beaches in Clearwater/St. Pete, Busch Gardens, a great aquarium, all sorts of tourists attraction, and an absolutely ludicrous number of titty bars.
After that Niners game, I'm sure the Saints aren't exactly appreciating this short travel week.

lol..
notch another one for Atlanta looking meh.
The playoff play is bet against them. Lose? double the next bet. Lose? rinse repeat.
if this team wins the Superbowl its an black mark on the parity era.
I was thinking Drew Brees must be having a drunk twitter-rant or something. Totally forgot about NFL game tonight.
Five picks, and it's still a close game. Seriously, can Atlanta just put anybody away at any point?

Woke up and saw the ESPN headline with 5 picks and was like Whaa??
I was at a bar and one eye watching the game with 0 sound. I saw the late 4th quarter pick only. Never saw a stat line either.
Atlanta the least convincing 11-1 team ever.
NFL HOF semifinalists are out, and I always enjoy pointless arguing. Argue your five! 27 men enter, five men leave!
/masterblaster
Guard Larry Allen, kicker Morten Andersen, safety John Lynch, tackle Jonathan Ogden, defensive tackle Warren Sapp, and defensive end Michael Strahan were the newcomers to the list.Former Chiefs and Raiders cornerback Albert Lewis is also a semifinalist for the first time, though he’s previously been eligible.
The remaining 20 have been semifinalists before, including last year’s 10 finalists who missed the final cut: Running back Jerome Bettis, wide receivers Tim Brown, Cris Carter and Andre Reed, guard Will Shields, defensive end Charles Haley, linebacker Kevin Greene, cornerback Aeneas Williams along with Bill Parcells and Ed DeBartolo, Jr.
The other 10 semifinalsts are: Safety Steve Atwater, coach Don Coryell, running backs Roger Craig and Terrell Davis, tackle Joe Jacoby, linebacker Karl Mecklenburg, owner Art Modell, former commissioner Paul Tagliabue, special teamer Steve Tasker and executive George Young.
Warren Sapp (dominant for a number of years, hugely disruptive as a DT, loads of sacks from that position, homerism so bite me), Jonathan Ogden, Larry Allen (those two were just amazing), Cris Carter (feel like his body control during tough catches and TD numbers were worth it), Bill Parcells (five different teams to the playoffs).
Jaguars at Bills : Jaguars look like they are starting to have WRs!
Browns at Raiders: Suspending a locker-room cancer has to have a karmic payoff.
Giants at Redskins : Redskins need this to stay in the playoff hunt, and RGIII is playing like a monster right now.
Seahawks at Bears: Home team.
Eagles at Cowboys: Eagles can't lose all their games, and it is so fun to see the Cowboys lose at home.
Bills - Both Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon are injured going into the game, without them I'm not sure how the Jags score points against a Bills D that has been playing decently as of late.
Browns - I can't pick the Raiders to beat anyone right now, that defense is just far too terrible. Richardson should approach or top 200 yards.
Giants - Giants are hot, Skins have no D, and the Skins haven't actually been good at home this year.
Bears - I think Sherman can shut down Marshall, but I still want to take the home team in this one. With these defenses I don't see a ton of points scored either way.
Cowboys - The Eagles aren't even trying at this point.
Joe Jacoby! /homerism
Brees broke his TD streak last night?
Does that mean Brady will get the record next season?

Game 6 of next season I believe.
Pretty silly record IMO. Especially since Rodgers isn't involved ;P

My HoF guys are Allen, Ogden, Sapp. Strahan, I guess, but I was never as impressed with him as I was supposed to be. My fifth might be Coryell

Strahan is worthy for sure, dunno about 1st ballot though. He wasn't Bruce Smith but he was pretty great, however this seems like a tough group of players.
Ogden and Allen were thought of as HOF players while they played and my opinion hasn't changed.
Should be interesting to see if Sapp makes it. He should, but the off the field crap might keep him out for a couple of years, rightfully so or not.
Walter Jones should be up for the hall in a year or two and could be in that top tackle mix as well.
