Castle Catch All.

Stupid Extreme Makeover tonight. No Castle. Any idea when it comes back?

Oh good, this means I can watch last weeks episode and not worry about missing a new episode tonight. Phew.

I'm pretty sure it'll be back next week, I think that's what they said during last week's credits.

Confirmed on Twitter by Terri Edda - next Monday is a Christmas-themed episode.

Ugh.

Another point about last week's episode: someone needs to tell Castle you don't need to know a phone's passcode to make an emergency call. At least not on any Android phone I've ever had.

Yeah my wife was screaming the same thing about it. iPhone in the episode I think, but it's the same for both. 911 does not require a code. Oh well.

The new posts in this thread made me think there was a new episode this week. Assh•les!

Right there with ya Quintin. And I didn't want to read the posts for fear of spoilers. Finally ventured in and read them with my eyes half closed, just in case.

+1

And by posting this we're making it even worse!

Christmas Castle!

So it was driving me nuts last night. I totally recognized the mom, but I can't place what I've seen her in. Feel like it was some kind of Joss Whedony thing, but I'm not positive.

IMDB says Tembi Locke

Recently on Eureka.

But many guest starring roles in various tv series all the way back to 90210 and Fresh Prince in the mid-90s.

Aha! That was it. We watched Eureka regularly until SyFy canceled it.

I'm pretty sure the captain's iPhone played an Android sound, then the iPhone sound.

Other than that, fun episode.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the episode. Also, they kept us guessing as to the killer. My wife and I both made guesses, who were involved in the whole affair, but in the end were both wrong.

I liked it. Except for the drama. Build a bridge, Beckett. It's Christmas.

Pretty much this. Per usual the funny parts are great, the drama is groan worthy.

Yup. Same here. Interesting mystery, the drama bits were not too over-bearing. Felt like a nicely balanced episode (to me atleast)

Yay Castle is back!

Loved the end. The rest was ok.

Ugh, more relationship drama.

At least they planted the thread of Castle's father again.

That mystery only popped up in that CIA two-parter, where the bad "girl" made that comment to Rick at the end about how he got to cover her for his book only because of his dad. And then what, you didn't know what your dad did?

And they've just left it there for 2 years or so now.

I agree, to a point. There's a reason "Happily ever after" is how fairy tales end--it's boring.

EDIT: Jebus, fairy tails? Really? FTFM

Good ep tonight. I enjoy when Ryan and/or Esposito get the main focus of an episode sometimes.

Agreed. Also, next week's looks like a fun one.

Cop-block.

Decent episode, but that last moment got my eyes misty.

This episode seemed like a setup for the return of the guy who fell off the bridge.

Seconded. I'm just waiting for when that happens. Probably a two-parter or something towards the end of the season. Or the season cliffhanger.
