What's on Your Wish List?

With the holidays coming up, what is on your wishlist? Me..

Far Cry 3, a wireless headset (hopefully the Logitech g930. I have the g35 now and really like it), an electric blanket so I can keep the hot side hot and the cool side cool, and a new kitchen knife set.

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?

Dishonored for Xbox 360. That's it actually

Baby clothes. Baby toys. Baby spit-up rags. Baby diapers. Baby changing table pad. Baby hats.

And maybe a bottle of gin for daddy.

Not trying to sound like a shill but the best thing I've done this year was setup an Amazon Wishlist for my friends & family. No one really knows what to get me (the family geek) and last year I got the exact same set of screwdrivers from two different relatives which matched a set I got the year before. Enough was enough, had to guide them a bit.

So... my Wishlist.

The big thing for me are the books. I love book shopping but these ones will be hard to find at a used book store for a while (if ever). Interesting gamer note, Roadside Picnic is the book the STALKER games are based on. Also it's author, Strugatski, passed away a few days ago so I hope it doesn't sell out or jump in price. The boardgames are an "investment in the future" as my 4 and 6 year old are not quite old enough to play them. SmallWorld though, God I love that game.

Safe flights too and from my honeymoon. X-mas in Puerto Rico.

Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!

Comics, a few DS games, some DVDs and random geeky stuff from ThinkGeek. Also threw a few board games and miniatures on my Amazon wish list as kind of Hail Mary type things.

Hmmm.definitely a new headset,my turtle beaches are on their last life.Far cry 3 and a new ps3 controller(pink) maybe a capture device as well.oh! And world peace

Don't forget Earth!

Nothing too extravagant. Just a Remington 700 SPS Tactical with an Accuracy International threaded barrel.

I've got a string of books(economics, cooking, and the PA books for the most part), some knives and general kitchen gear, a few board games, and a few tools. Oh, and I've added the Logitech G35 headset to the list as well.

Christmas gifts are all about receiving expensive things that you wouldn't normally get for yourself, so for me it's a Mechanical Keyboard!

I pretty much cleared out all of my gaming needs through Black Friday deals. I'm hoping for some upgrades to my wet-shaving kit.

My wife pretty much banned me from purchasing more wet shaving stuff until I use up the stockpile I already have. What sort of stuff were you thinking of getting?

Maybe some cool bar stuff, like glasses or what not. I think I am pretty much set on games - more I just need the time to play them:)

Most of my wish list is stuff I'm putting in there to buy for other people's gifts. I hope no one's reading mine now!

Nothing.

I mean, there's things I'd like, but no-one's going to be buying a $4k tri bike. Otherwise, I'm pretty much set.

Cards against humanity or gift cards for books.

I started wet-shaving in July with a low-end starter kit. I've noticed the razor is not quite level, the brush is boar-bristle despite being advertised as badger, and my shaving mug is a little too tall/narrow for me.

I had my eye on some Evelyn and Crabtree shaving soap in a wooden bowl, easy gift for my sister as she gets to pick a fragrance in some artsy-packaging for me. I don't know where to go with an upgrade for my brush but I've heard good things about Frank's Brushes. I'm also not sure where to look for a better razor. I'm still sampling different blades thanks to Shave-Like-A-Man. I am happy with my brush/razor stand though.

Now that they're available at Best Buy (a store that my family might actually go to, as opposed to GameStop), Steam wallet cards.
Even a $20 one can go pretty far during the Christmas sale.

This is a great idea for giving to family members!

I won't be getting a Wii U unless someone gives me one.

Definitely! I guess what's really keeping me from buying that one is whether to get the one where I can hear the keys clacking, but as I type this, I realize I can hear this keyboard like a woodpecker.

Also, I need more memory for my computer, and one new fan. I'll be getting myself that before Christmas though. It's really annoying to run out of memory. I have to restart my computer before playing Planetside 2. Also, I'd really like a new gfx card, the gtx 260 is getting long in the tooth and I have a bigger monitor now (1920x1080 vs 1280x1024).

The badger brush from Crabtree and Evelyn is actually an Edwin Jagger and is definitely not bad. I use one myself.

If you want an upgrade from that, the stuff you can get from West Coast Shaving is pretty damned good as well. You can also get some decent stuff from www.knifecenter.com. Howard is good people and I steer business at him whenever I can.

The Merkur razors are not bad, but the blades are pretty nasty, though I prefer the antique Gillettes. If you are particularly nice to me and send me your info over PM, I might even send you one of the ones I no longer use. The same deal goes for you as it does for everyone else I have sent a razor: some day (and that day may never come), I will ask of you a favor. That favor, you can not refuse.

Love my BlackWidow. I didn't get the stealth and I'm not sorry.

Unless you just love your current shaving/skin care system, I say toss it out. All of it. For years my sink top was a chaotic mishmash of Anthony, Lab Series, Clinique, Neutrogena, and hell, even Burt's Bees shave cream picked up on a trip. Ugh, what a pain.

I've replaced it all with Jack Black products. JB has the most complete, complimentary, and sane men's shaving/skin care line ever made. Totally worth the switch. Also, they have a few starter sets that are reasonably affordable and readily available during the holidays.

Yeah, I have a mechanical keyboard on my list as well. I've been looking at getting a Max Keyboard Nighthawk X9 or a Tesoro Durandal.

Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver remote control.

I gather that it isn't much cop as a remote, being gesture based, but still.

My wish list is pointless. There's reasonably priced stuff on there that my family has steadfastly ignored for years, and they still demand a list from me every Christmas and birthday. Guess my mum just doesn't want to buy me porn.

I do like Jack Black Lip Balm.

EDIT: Actually, I think that I am aware of wet-shaving thanks to Jack Black. I saw their fancy-shave stuff at Sephora in Manhattan, tour of the city with some female friends, and was intrigued. I wanted to buy a shaving kit for my sensitive skin but settled on the lip balm because it fit in my pocket while the shaving kit would require me to carry a bag for the rest of the day.

The lip balm and the industrial strength hand healer are both essential winter survival tools.

Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U. Knowledge of the next boxes from Sony and MS so I can pick one.

Ties and shirts, and a better store to buy them than I've found. A pinstriped suit. A slick vest!

New coat of paint for my car. A couple local friends in this strange, cold new land. Or a date! A promotion...well, maybe that's for next Christmas.

Maybe I can help with the new friend(s) in Mass. I'm nearly competent at shopping for shirts and ties too! I am no help when it comes to arranging dates though.
