Thanks for your time!

Honestly curious. Why/how do you think these are worth $80? Or anywhere near that?

Honestly skimming?

I dunno, didn't really see an answer to that.

According to the price ON the books, which I paid, they are worth $100.

EDIT: I should edit to say I don't usually buy this type of stuff so was unaware of online pricing and/or resell value, etc. Just thought from the price I paid and cut 20% for basically new would be a good deal for someone.

So apparently only UK residents can get Far Cry 3 for 30% off at Greenmangaming. I would greatly appreciate if one of our UK goodjers would pick that up for me. Once bought, it can't be purchased again from your account. If you have any interest in the deal, then you'd be locking yourself out. GMG usually gives Steam codes out a couple days before launch, which is Nov 30th in the UK.

I'd be willing to compensate with Steam goodies or a direct transfer through PayPal.

I have an unused Steam key for Civ 5 that I do not want. Will sell for $5.

There's supposedly a key for Far Cry 3 arriving with a new SSD I ordered yesterday. I don't have much interest in the game at this point so we can probably work something out.

3DS - Theatrhythm - $25 including shipping. Open to trades too.

Google Nexus 10 32GB - $450

I want to love it. It is a great machine but I have had an iPad since they came out and I just can't love another. Almost everything is better about the Nexus 10 but it just doesn't have the Apple ... magic.

Anyway, it isn't really cheap but it will save you $100 over what you would pay if you bought it new.

Thanks for looking.

That Apple black magic is the stuff that makes anyone feel hip

TRADE REQUEST: My 7-year-old nephew wants Mario Party 9 for the Wii. Anyone who has it and is looking to offload it, please PM me.

I missed out on the good Witcher 2 (360 version) deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. If anyone has a copy they would sell for let me know.

Same here... If there's another spare copy floating around, please let me know.

Are PC games (disk versions, naturally), especially modern ones, tradeable in any real way, or are they bound to the first user's email and therefore locked up?

Depends on the game. Some are (Ubisoft) some are partially (special DLC codes in EA games that would need to be re-bought)

Or those pesky one-time use online access codes, so you can play single player but if you want to play online you'd better give them some money.

Why I ask is that I've got a mess of older PC games to trade away (on disk so should be fine), but I'm also angling for some newer games some Goodjers aren't too thrilled with, like GW2 and Diablo 3. Heck, I can't be too choosy, considering the PC limitations!

Unfortunately D3 is tied to your BattleNet account :/

I'll throw out that I'm looking to get rid of a Fanatec CSR wheel, Clubsport v1 pedals, and the CSR h-pattern and sequential shifters set as well as a Rennsport stand. I hung on to it when I upgraded to the CSR-E thinking my kids would use the wheel but they don't seem interested.

I'm on the hunt for a cheap PS3. I have seen some folks tring to unload a 60/80 gb model on ebay for like $100 witch seems reasonable. anyone?

Don't get one of those, seriously. They use a lot of power and are really hot compared to the slims and now the newest model. I had 2 of them fail on me. There have been numerous people on here who've had them fail recently. They just aren't made to last that long. They are extremely complicated machines.

Once they shrunk the nm process on the CPU down with the slim model, they run much cooler, quieter, and should last much longer. I would go for a used 120 GB Slim at the least. That's the one I have, and it's been running great for a couple years. I need a bigger hard drive now, though. Gonna have to do that soon.

If you do go for one of those, be fully prepared for it to die - as in back it up frequently and you MUST sign up for PS+ so that it sends your save games to the cloud servers. If you don't, you can get your save games back from a local backup, but you cannot get any more trophies using that save. This is to prevent people from downloading saves off of the internet to get trophy unlocks.

During Black Friday sales you could get a brand new 250gb PS3 with 4 solid games for $200, shipped. That bundle is around $290 now, but if you keep your eyes open, maybe someone will revisit that price during the holiday shopping season.

QFT

If you're seeing the older models that cheap, they may be refurbished units. At the least, check the auction's specifics. If there aren't many, stay away.

Tell me about it.

I'd love to nab that setup but I think my wife would divorce me.

That first one tempts me even though I have neither the need, financial freedom nor reasonable geographic proximity to own it. Maybe if you still have it in 6 months... [/wishful thinking]

Merry Holidays, y'all! Thanks in advance for helping me clean out my games on disk!

> Most games below are reliably known to work on an Windows XP PC. No idea about Windows 7.

>Most do NOT have manuals with them, but some will.

>Most have the necessary CD keys printed on the case.

>All are FREE, including shipping to the Continental U.S. I could unload these to the nearest Goodwill or Salvation army store, but I'd rather they go to an appreciative home. I will ship in the next few days, but it could take a week or more.

>I reserve the right to have been wrong about the system or the CD key, in that rare case. But remember that coasters are much in demand during the holidays.
