We did some medjool dates... those were pretty tasty.

My usual trifecta of awesomeness to wrap bacon around is dates, cocktail weiners and tofu.

Yes, tofu. Started out as a way to poke fun at vegetarians until I discovered that bacon-wrapped tofu is actually delicious, and elegantly solves the problem of tofu not tasting enough like bacon.

Don't forget scallops!

So, I guess I'll be making the rounds to each and every one of your houses tonight to partake in the bacony goodness ;)

Are you flirting with me?

Lucky bastards, it takes a week for me to make bacon.

I had to copy edit a briefing book for a guy named Dick Bacon the other day. Counts?

Spoiler:

not the nudist who died in 2000, of course

I'm going to make some bacon jam tomorrow, then use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches. Hopefully it turns out well.

Seen at cheezburger.com, so may not be an actual product.

You're in luck!

Do you wait until it's cooled off before wrapping your date in bacon, or is she into the scalding hot fat burning the skin, like an S&M aphrodisiac?

Either way, it sure does solve the problem of post-coital munchies.

Agreed.

Still want to try it.

And you do too.

Excuse me for skipping the 36 pages.... (i.e. skim alert)

I've had bacon. And chicken.

Not even the first page. *shakes head sadly*

Video that will be playing at my house christmas morning until my wife says otherwise.

I came here to let you all know about a Latvian bacon bread roll called pīrāgi and am leaving this thread with the best video ever. Thank you Tanglebones.

P.S look up Piragi and make them as soon as possible. If a recipe says they make 60-80 do no be scared away. Make all 60-80.

I would slap them for the grammatical mistake, and then run away with the bacon.

That is assuming that your date made the grammatical mistake. I would give the gift of bacon to anyone with good grammar skills. Yes, a slap AND the refusal to gift the bacon is a pretty epic way to end a date over bad grammar.

I received the gift of bacon soap today. *tear*.

I have bacon maple caramels. There's not a single word there that isn't delicious.

I made baked beans today, but really I should have called the dish maple bacon with beans. One spoon full of bacon and some small amount of beans.

That is a very small amount of food, Bonnonon

Edit: Unless you're this guy.

har har har. I meant per spoon from a bowl.

*edit* nice pic

So, this bacon product gives new meaning to the phrase "100% pork product."
