Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Catch All (Oliver North Approved)

Moments ago an update was sent to Black Ops 2 adding a new playlist, dubbed "Bonus." The mode within the playlist, "Chaos Moshpit," notes that selecting this playlist will rotate "small maps with a variety of game modes," including Nuketown 2025.

"Chaos Moshpit" also includes the maps Carrier, Cargo, Express, Hijacked, Slums, and Standoff, Vonderhaar

Edit: for those that didnt know Nuketown 2025 wasnt available to play yesterday.

Use it on Domination. I kept runningand capping the middle flag at the start of a round. I was able to deflect a lot of damage. Also the other team concentrates fire on the shield.

You'll have a terrible K/D and won't be top of the leaderboard. But you'll be influencing the flow of the game.

Bit of a swizz that he could take breaks.

Anyway, my copy of the game arrived; it came with Nuketown. Amazon had two versions of the game listed at the same price, so I went with the one that had Nuketown on the cover. (THough they've said images aren't the official product description, or some such thing.)

Hahaha!!! That's awesome. Glanton, you look a little stressed, buddy!!! Looks like you haven't went to the bathroom in a while!

I'm joined up in the GWJ Clan. I've never been in a clan before. How do we go about getting Clan XP, badges and such?

The maps are set up that they can control which ones they want to show or not.

They had taken away Nuketown from everyone yesterday, but changed their minds and put it back today.

That is exactly how I felt yesterday!

I will be online a lot the next few days, too. I'd really like to hit my second prestige by tomorrow.

I'll be starting my 3rd tonight. I hit 55 when i logged last night.

Everytime I log in you're in the 50s, are you sure its just your third?

Been playing a little of this game every night and this change makes me happy. Not only having nuketown in the normal map rotation, but changing gameplay types between rounds as well. Its nice to mix things up.

Also, there needs to be a different key to pickup new weapons or to set/defuse bombs. I want to pull my hair out when I go to defuse and spend precious seconds picking up weapons on the ground instead. Or they could code it better so that a press of the key swaps weapons and a hold of the button defuses. Either option would increase my level of sanity.

Could I get an invite to the clan? I'll have to look at my elite and see what's going on. I was in a clan for MW3, but it was only like 5 of my friends, and they only play the Modern Warfare games I think. Let me know if there are any issues with inviting me. I think you can only be in one clan at a time.

Is your gamertag the same as your forum name? Friend me up or send me a message and I'll get you squared away.

Ya it's the same.

I should be on a fair amount this weekend as well. Hoping to hit prestige 2 by the end of the weekend.

So, to reiterate, I've joined the GWJ Clan. How do we go about getting Clan XP, badges and such? Is that where Leagues come into play?

Dumb question, how do I join the GWJ Clan? I'm playing on XBL.

There is a patch out on 360 today. No official patch notes until tomorrow, but supposedly fixes glitches with the escort drone and dragonfly.

Just play and your clan gets xp

Something I just learned today: Engineer is awesome, especially if you use Care Package.

So true. It's really nice when you are hijacking someone else's crate

EDIT: typing from work leads to stupid typing errors/logic faults.

Editorcook and Mountaineer, you both have invites. Also...does anyone know who clazzi is? He applied to the clan, but I didn't recognize the GT.

They'll have clan events too where we can earn clan XP for doing things like getting X kills as a clan, winning Y games of Domination, etc.

For those asking about Clan operations, here's a link to the MW3 FAQ.

Keep in mind that Elite membership is now free. So, there's no reason that you shouldn't join the GWJ clan.

On a side note, we had a couple of rough games at the end of the night last night. Better luck tonight!

Nobody plays on PS3? I can't understand how you guys like playing with all those children on xbox... /troll

On a serious note, I would appreciate some company on PS3 if anyone wants to add me... I'm Dakuna on PS3 also.

Oh I'm sure there's like, one more person. Probably. Enjoy playing with the PS3 controller's craptacular analog sticks. /trollback

On another note, yeah, those last games last night were rough.

Yeah, getting stomped isn't very fun. I wonder if we'd have better luck in the league?

I would definitely be up for trying league play.

In general, my play deteriorates as the night goes on and the number of cocktails that I drink increases.

It's possible. There's at least actual matchmaking in the league play stuff, so in theory we should reach a point where we're winning about 50% of the time, which I'm personally ok with. Always much happier when games are close.

Hahaha! I sure do enjoy a few wobbly pops when I'm gettin' gunned down by teens and tweens. No wonder I swear so much when I play this game.

I'm game for league play, but won't be on til 10:30 mtn time tonight. Gonna go watch some WHL Hockey tonight.

Hi, All

I'm still dithering over purchasing this given Skyrim and my bargain bucket pile, so I was hoping for the opinions of some GWJers.

First, single player. Do the new branching elements improve the replayability of the game? Or are the differences to insignificant to justify second, third and fourth playthroughs?

Second, multiplayer. Has multiplayer settled into the traditional CoD pattern (i.e. most players circling the perimeter of the map and laying siege to chockpoints)? Or do the maps encourage more variation?

Also, are common loadouts already appearing or do the weapons/maps facilitate more variation and experimentation? (I remember that, within a few weeks, most players had similar loadouts in Black Ops 1.)

Has the end of killstreaks made the game better?

I'd say the change from killstreaks to scorestreaks was definitely a very good one. I can't say I've noticed any routines yet, but I haven't played nearly as much as some others.

Haven't (and likely won't) touched the singleplayer.

Well I completed the campaign tonight. Make sure you wait until the end of the credits for a real WTF moment, heh!
