What are you playing this weekend?

Time to finally knock out the final mission of Alpha Protocol. What a good game. Not great, no. But absolutely underrated, and everyone should take a look at it, since it is so often on a Steam mega sale. It has some great ideas that if streamlined could lead to a great sequel or other companies stealing some of their ideas.

Summoner Wars for IOS; it's addictive....

If anything, then a bit of progress in 999. The first time I played it was a few days ago. I began the game at 11pm. When I switched it off, I expected the clock next to my bed to be at no later than 11:45pm. Instead, it had just passed 1am. Needless to say that Tuesday was not a pleasant day on the job.

Perhaps I'll get further in Transformers: War for Cybertron. I'm on mission 8/10, but that could easily mean another 3-4 hours before the end. Like everyone says, the Autobot campaign is better than the Decepticon one; at least so far.

Alternately, I might try to get closer to the end of Bastion.

I also suddenly developed a hankering to start up Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, and try to play through it, finally.

Most likely, though....nothing except some Minecraft on the GWJ server while watching college football.

Just finished this last week and really really enjoyed it. Perfect when you're looking for an espionage kick. But then again, I really enjoyed the mini games...especially while under pressure from gun fire. I could see how that part might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Planning to finish Mass Effect 2, and perhaps poke at ME3. Also running the continuing adventures of my Call of Cthulhu group, who are plodding their way through the opening chapter of the venerable Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign. I expect to see them leave New York behind, and venture into darkest London. Or perhaps Africa?

I played some Mario Galaxy 2 last night and was ready to throw the wiimote at the TV in rage. I haven't been that mad at a game in years, and I think I may just drop it. I also took advantage of the Awesomenauts free weekend and holy crap is that fun. I grabbed the full game and will probably put some more time in to it. I'd like to return to Assassin's Creed 2 which I temporarily put down a few weeks ago, but have cleared the pile enough to return to.

The first Saints Row game. Except I'm a little confused by weapons and non of the walkthroughs or FAQS seem to explain it. In my crib there is a weapon icon that seems to be there to store previously owned weapons. Except that whenever I buy guns then refuse to show up there.

Which level in galaxy 2?

We're at the end of world 3. The bowser jr. boss fight and whatever extra stars we have left from previous levels are infuriating. Being only about halfway through and already ready to destroy furniture and electronics does not bode well for me playing more of this game. Galaxy 1 wasn't nearly so frustrating.

I will play some other titles, but my goal this weekend is to finish The Walking Dead: Episode 4.

Mine, too. Which I did this afternoon.

I'm still waiting on my order of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite to arrive, so last night it was more of the superb Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I've said before I am not a Kingdom Hearts fan, but this is one damn fun game.

Sorry for the cussing, y'all.

I picked up a copy of Dishonored, so we'll see how that goes. I played a few minutes of it and I can tell that it's going to be a Female Doggo trying to play the way I want to (stealthy no kills)

Likely just writing and writing - NaNoWriMo is my sole deity and I worship almost daily.

With any luck, I will find time to do some ME 2 recap in preparation for my gift to myself of ME3 come December, as well as some Dark Souls and Oblivion. I still have to do Nier but for some reason I can't seem to pick it back up.

5-day Thanksgiving Weekend Edition:

Besides whatever I may end up buying via the Steam sale...

The Walking Dead: Episode 5 - Going to start and finish the final episode of The Walking Dead (possibly my 2012 GOTY)
Borderlands 2 - Continuing to make progress, sucks I have to restart my computer every time before playing it, for whatever reason
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward - Hoping to get a couple more of the endings, so far 22+ hours in and only have gotten 1 of the 9
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria - Dailies... (why do I pay $15/month for this?)
Assassins Creed III - In honor of the colonies this weekend, maybe I'll start playing this game
Resident Evil 6 - Maybe start the Jake campaign, playing co-op with wife

Persona 4: Golden, maybe some Gravity Rush if I want to take a break from it.

Mass Effect 3, here, and likely Keeping for a one-shot CoC on Saturday for some friends.

Long weekend! I'm hoping to play some New Super Mario Bros. U!

And board game night on Saturday!

Persona 4 Golden

I'm playing Keep the kiddo happy in the hospital and maybe some Star Traders RPG on the iPad on my breaks.

Long weekend. Walking Dead Chapter 5 without a doubt my highest priority. Squeamishly inching towards it with eyes half-closed.

Hope all is OK with y'all.

You sons o' Female Doggoes and your long weekends. I still gotta work Friday.

Using vacation time to have Friday off here. The office is officially not conducting business but we have to use our own time off for it. Until a few years ago it was expected to be in, but so many took off that the boss just changed it to that.

I'm hoping to finish the Walking Dead and Okami HD, I also intend to play a fair bit of Persona 4 golden and Minecraft.
As far as non gaming time goes, I need to get some practice in on my drawing and writing. (not necessarily in that order ;))

Overall a busy four day weekend for me.:D

Dark Souls and possibly starting Dragon's Dogma.

I recently got XCOM: Enemy Unknown for $32 at GMG, so I'll be starting that during this long weekend.

In an ideal world, I'd finish Super Paper Mario or finish up the bonus puzzles in Pushmo. Neither is likely to happen, but a guy can dream, right?

A guy can, but can you?

/facepalm

Assassin's Creed 2 and hopefully some Awesomenauts. I'm trying to decide if I want to start up another game alongside AC2, but haven't settled on one yet.
