League Of Legends Catch All

I have been messing around in the pbe, and I like alot of the changes. The boots enchants while I have not got to the point of using them look like they could really help diversify some builds.

There just seems to be alot more options, alot of different ways to go.

the jungle is weird with no leashes, and the mobs are definitely buffed, seems like you have to start machete 5 pots. So far I've only done jax and skarner, and jax with no runes/masteries cause I forgot they changed them. Skarner still clears real fast but from what I understand Darius has one of the fastest clears now.

i just discovered elobuff last week and decided to try a trial sub for a month, on account of I'm a stathead. Lots of neat stuff in here, including more detailed game stats like wards purchased. There's so much, in fact, that I'm having trouble trying to find stuff in the interface after seeing it once before (the ward counts specifically).

How would that be? Does he ult mobs after 6 or something?

You almost have me tempted to figure out this PBE thing...almost....

I dunno any of the numbers stuff but I imagine he can probably kill the adds with his spin easy enough and single target dot stacking after?

Signups are only up the first three days of the month, they give you 5k rp/10k up and make the newest champs cost 10 ip/rp. More than enough to buy a couple champs/skins and a base rune set and go mess around. The queue right now is at least 2 hours though.

I thought you were all insane for the "theory crafting" about AP being worse in season 3 earlier...

Reports from the test realm indicate that the new DFG is in fact completely overpowered, and AP carries scale better and have more options than they did in season 2. If there are going to be changes to AP characters, they will probably be nerfs.

Jungle reports look interesting. Looks like Nautilus will actually be just fine. Color me pleasantly surprised!

Remind me Dyni. Does the new DFG now do true damage?

No. Think of it as a single target Vlad ult. It increases all damage on the target by 20% for the next 4 seconds.

Ah, so no Nuke, but a serious debuff. Got it.

I think that just shows that you're a beastmaster, not that any of us are good. In fact I'm still tied for last on that list.

Now I need to play a few games with you so I can at least past jimmy.

It's still a nuke too, it just doesn't do true damage. More AP than before also. It's seriously broken:

Deathfire Grasp
Item Cost: 3000
Recipe Cost: 965
+100 Ability Power +15% Cooldown Reduction
UNIQUE Active: Deals 15% of target champion's maximum Health in Magic Damage then amplifies all magic damage they take by 20% for 4 seconds - 60 second cooldown.

That's even more of a mandatory AP item than Rabadon's is now.

Which is insanely lame because it forces an engagement range and thus cripples the relative power of artillery/long ranged mages like Xerath who use positioning to survive.

If it makes it to live in the current state I will be compelled to only play mages who normally engage at DFG range.

Play with the new masteries without needing to sit in a queue for 2 hours: http://www.finalesfunkeln.com/s3/

Plug in headphones if you're curious about the root domain.

Edit: on second thought, just don't.

Crinkle so heavy but I carry him with my masterful mouse dying and getting caught then aceing the enemy team baits.

I am hugely against having to spend 4 goddamn points for 1 AP per level in order to get MPen.

Or 8 points for 1 per level plus an additional 6 AP just to get to the last two abilities on the tree. Meh. Maybe an attempt to force diversification into the other trees?

also... 'Unyielding' seems like just about the most useless mastery in any tree... surprised to see it still there in that form.

Huh, well supports make out like bandits with free potions and wards.

No more Life Steal in Combat.

Yeah, utility tree is definitely the best overall tree now.

A combination of relentless, tenacious, merc treads, and phage nerfs should make slows less of an issue for easily kited champs, like Udyr. Good luck peeling Irelia off anything.

Well I like the changes to the Tank tree as well. The safeguard ability is very nice. The additional armor and MR abilities are also quite handy. But I am not so sure if making tanks harder to kill is what the game needed to increase the pace.

Moving meditation to the front line is good for champs like Kog, Gangplank, Fiora who often are had to dive in 8-9 points in Utility for that boost.

I can see a general logic to this. To get into the meat of any tree, you need to spend 10 points. So no longer will it be an easy manner for a Carry or a Support to get easy MR and Armor up front. The choice bits require you to invest. But they also acknowledge that some of the minor and secondary abilities that had champs wasting points are now put up front.

It doesn't feel like there is much worth speccing into with just 9 points, I ended up with a few 23/25 in one area masteries when messing around on the one.

ooh, a regenerative biscuit!

It's the Total Biscuit of Regeneration as seen in the RoG patch notes previously. Most likely a high level referral bonus for TotalBiscuit aka The Cynical Brit, who managed to get a lot of people into league by doing some videos of it right when it launched.

hmm, this pickpocket ability. I wonder if supports that poke alot (sona?) could really profit from this. Also I wonder if attack speed ADs could find this useful or if it is just too much into the try and not enough profit compared to the attack tree.
also, for the new scout mastery, i wonder if you could use this to use a pink ward at dragon to kill a ward normally out of range on bottom with both support and ADC attacking it. Or if there was a ward at both places try to get both at once (ADC getting the farther away one since they most likely have higher attack speed). other than that I don't see too much use for it.
The strength of spirit seems really interesting when mixed with the tear of the goddess items. Also sounds plain evil on a blitzcrank. (doubtful a ryze would go that far in support tree for it but who knows).

It has a 5 second cd, so you can get at most 60/36 gpm, but that requires going an enemy champ exactly every 5 seconds. I think it's good if you're already that deep in the tree.

ah, I didnt see the 5 sec CD

I think that is a bone tossed to supports with HOG gone.

I tihnk they had plenty of bones tossed to them through the items this time around. It looks like playing a support is going to be real fun and more active.

Nice Flash there, buddy! Thanks for the taxes.
