NFL 2012 Week 11 Thread

YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Why am I still watching the Dallas game in NJ? Shouldn't we be watching the NE/Indy game now? I mean, if the Cowboys were going to lose I'd be okay with it, but it looks like that's not going to happen.

JJ Watt, doing that thing again...

ANOTHER batted ball by the Texans' D!

FG good. Sudden death now in Houston.

Bah.

At least we made you work for it.

BTW the line on another Tie this year was 16:1 which if you did the math is pretty bad odds I think...

I have no idea what the OT rules are at this point.

Edit: Stele on top of it already! Thanks.

Saints defense with a pick 6? Never thought I'd see that this year...

Dallas-Cle in sudden death too. I sure thought that was a catch+fumble a few min ago but the refs didn't agree.

And oh sh*t, Schaub!

My disinterested wife, while vacuuming, has picked apart the overtime rules.

And Schaub with a G-D INT in sudden death. 9@;&/@@2@:@:"/:;

WHAT A GAME!

WHAT?!

Pandemonium!

Cannot believe Tampa won that game. Good for the Muscle Hamster getting those big runs on the OT drive to help make up for that crap fumble call earlier in the game. That TD throw to V-Jax was ridiculously good, just a perfect line. Looking forward to my throat stopping hurting after the screaming damage heals.

Also, go Jaguars.

Edit: Oh, *Legion*, so close. I feel so bad, I even used the asterisks this time.

CHAD HENNE!

Was rooting against the Texans but I really needed Johnson to catch that last TD for my fantasy team.

That was for the turnover on downs.

WHAT A GAME!!!!! Could not have been scored by a more appropriate guy! Andre! Beloved in Houston!

Giant fans wanted to seethe Cowboys lose.

TY Hilton? Rookie-to-rookie @NE. Wow their D is really bad.

Giant fans Everyone wanted to seethe Cowboys lose.

FTFY.

Luck > Brady > Henne > Gabbert

Amazing weekend of football. I expected nothing interesting, as the Aggies played an FCS team and the Texans were playing the Jags. I gave Baylor and Stanford no real chance of winning. Then they do, and the Texans game becomes the closest of the year!

Now let's hope those turnovers don't follow them into the playoffs.

Aqib Talib, I still love you! Nice pick-six.

OK, not love, but he's always excelled at returning INTs. I'd still rather have the fourth-rounder than him.

Jeebus. What a freaking game.

The Texans were determined to give me a heart attack today. They seem to be getting worn down as the season progresses. Defense is looking inconsistent now, and I'm apprehensive about their upcoming games against the Lions, Pats, and Colts. I will say that I'm very excited to see: Andre looking to be in top form and a rally from a two-TD deficit. It feels like a long time since I've seen them successfully rally from being down like that. I hope they keep finding ways to win.

I can't say worn down; they beat a very good Bears team on the road in bad weather.

I'm calling this a combo hangover/trap game. Weren't expecting the Jags to play so well. Also weren't expecting to turn it over so many freakin' times.

So now that I'm done with the Panthers for this season, I look ahead to next week to see who I *won't* be watching the Panthers play.

Huh. It's the Eagles.

On Monday night.

Sorry, America.

+1

Is Rivers just bad now or is it his supporting cast? Or the most likely combination of A and B?

Hes 30. I wonder if another team might take a run at trading for him if SD considers just blowing it all up.

If I were the QB in SD I'd probably suck in order to get out of that mess.

Talib gave up a touch-down while getting called for PI. You'll get to keep that fourth rounder beyond this season too. Free agent CB's on his talent level seem to follow the best contract opportunity.

EDIT:

He hasn't played well this year, two or three years ago he was still pretty solid with a slew of back-up WR's. The O-line is atrocious in San Diego this year and Norv is still Norv. The RB situation is a nightmare, Ronnie Brown has played well but I don't understand why he's the third down back over Matthews. Jackie Battle is not a good short yardage back despite his size and Norv keeps putting these guys in situationally.

Eli Manning's 2004 draft drama seems like a pretty wise move now.
