Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Catch All (Oliver North Approved)

Ok, since there seemed to be a bunch of problems figuring out the old clan, I set up a new one. I believe this link will work https://elite.callofduty.com/connect....

I've already sent some of you invites, but for some reason, it can't find all of you. When I get home from work this afternoon, I'll try to set it up so others can approve new members.

My friends won't play league games with me. They lost interest when I said it was solo XP and that it was about climbing the league. They're too afraid of losing.

That sucks. Personally, I am not that serious about it, so I don't take it hard when I lose, especially when playing solo. As long as I get matched into competitive games, I'm happy. I just really hate getting dropped into a game of, say, Domination, and losing 200-50.

They are weapon skins.

I'll be picking this up later today and will be joining the GWJ clan soon. Do we have enough for some GWJ only matches?

I thinker could probably do that. I believe that some of the party modes could be fun with a group of Goodjers.

It appears only the leader can approve clan applications. Also, if anyone wants to try the league thing, I'd be up for it, but I'm not very good. At all.

Yeah, I'd definitely be up for that. I should be on tonight.

Realized I haven't played an fps in sometime. Thinking of grabbing this. Any general impressions? Console/PC?

I think that it's fun and a good value if you want to play multiplayer. If you're only in it for the campaign, you're probably not going to feel like you got your money's worth. I'm playing on the 360.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but I'm also on the 360. Or will be, anyway.

I'd disagree. I think I'm 2/3 through SP, and I think it's the best campaign CoD's ever done. Granted, CoD2 came out so long ago that I don't remember it well.

I'll be playing again tonight too. I think.

There's been at least four of us on when I've played on the 360. Besides the occasional over-matched blow out it's been a great time. We seem to be doing pretty well on the objective gametypes.

I've put probably four hours into the multiplayer, and while it's fun and undeniably well made I don't think I'll ever like a CoD game as much as I liked MW2. Once I've maxed my rank, finished the campaign, and did whatever with the Zombie modes, I might sell it and just buy a copy of MW2 that I'll never sell.

How do I apply them? Feeling dumb.

When you're in the screen where you can customize a selected class, if you highlight the weapon there should be a prompt on screen somewhere that says "Personalize Weapon" and shows you what button to hit.

*On the 360 it's either X or Y, I forget which.

Game get, Applying to the GWJ clan soon.

It's Y.

have the cursor highlight the weapon you want to skin when in modify mode and hit O when you're on the PC.

Can someone with the ability accept me into the clan?

I haven't purchased a 360 game in over a year, but for some reason I'm considering picking this up. I"ve always preferred the COD games on console to PC for some reason.

I started the Prestige mode tonight. Starting over kind of blows. The Prestige unlocks seem kind of bland.

They're MUCH better than previous versions... You keep all your weapon unlocks and you get to choose an item to unlock permanently.

The extra xp weekend has been kind i'm starting my 2nd prestige.

Yeah... we're not sure how to do that. We don't know who started it and from what I've read they may be the only person that can invite people or accept applications.

Might be time for somebody that's going to stick with the game to just start a new one.

New clan that was set up.

If you could invite Xeknos, that would be great. The link isn't working for me.

You are invited. Unfortunately, it won't let me give anyone else the ability to do that. Unless I'm missing something, of course.

Is anyone else in need of an invite? If so, just send me a message on here or xbox live.

I prestiged last night too. I like the prestige system more than in MW3 or BlOPs 1. You get a new custom class AND you get to keep 1 item (gun, grenade, perk, etc.). In the last couple of games, it's always been one or the other, I think...but I may not be remembering it correctly. And, you get to keep all of your challenge progress and weapon levels/unlocks.

I agree with you. I am only about 1/4 of the way into the campaign, and I like it. It's just that the CoD campaigns are pretty short (5-6 hours). If I wasn't a MP addict, I don't think that I'd feel like that 5-6 hours of gameplay was worth $60. That said, I put well over 100 hours into Skyrim, so I like to get a lot of hours out of my single player games.

Ok maybe I misunderstood what the value is of the unlocks? What is the value of the Prestige mode? Quick explanation please, also what did you take with your first unlock?
