OK, OK. No more pokes at Gabbert until he completes another pass. So ... until the New Year!

I kid, I kid. Gabby will most likely complete a pass before Christmas.

Oh, come on, he'll complete plenty of passes before . . .

Oh, you mean to a Jaguar.

HE'S BIG-BONED AND HE CUT THE STUPID HAIR.

Your quarterback has a porn mustache. And a porn name. Porn or boy-band; I personally thought Blaine, Maurice, Justin, Cecil, and Marcedes were just AWESOME opening for the Backstreet Boys back in '98.

Lets see if I can't finish my drive all the way to the bottom.

Panthers at Buccaneers - Obvious pick is obvious.
Ravens at Steelers - Homer pick is homer.
Packers at Lions - I got nothing.
Bears at 49ers - First game I ever saw was the 49ers beating up on Denver in the Super Bowl. Can't not pick em.
Jaguars at Texans - Because they're just #winning.

You and me both. Jeez, my picks are horrible this year.

True, but it will be gone once Movember ends, while your guy will still be showin' Thanksgiving dinner.

Whereas Josh, Doug, Mike, Vincent and Carl is a polo team roster.

And Aqib, Ahmad, Jerramy, Geno and LeGarrette sounds like the local police blotter. Oh wait...

Anyone willing to take a gander at the first head-coach to get canned?

Spoiler:

My money's on Reid, Philly fans seem the most outspoken about him so far.

Reid has about 100 lives. (much to the chagrin of Gameguru)
He also seems to have his chances of being fired follow the rule of halves. He gets closer and closer but never crosses the threshold.

Of course I probably just jinxed him. (you're welcome GG)

I think Reid survives the season. I'd guess Romeo Crennel, as he's the coach of the worst team in the league and the Chiefs fired Todd Haley mid-season a year or two back. Suck + precedent = unemployment.

I think they'll wait to fire romeo and pioli together, or have pioli's replacement can romeo.

I'm guessing that no one will go before the end of the season.

The Belichick coaching tree has been a real disaster.

You mean they don't come with their own Tom Bradys?

That's a huge part of it, but that's not all of it. A lot of these coaches remind me of children, copying what they see the adults do, without any real understanding of why they're doing it.

"OK, Bill is secretive, so we need to take being secretive to the next level!!"

They're like caricatures of Belichick rather than disciples.

Either that, or they're Romeo Crennel. "Why are my teams such messes? Back in New England, I used to just show up for work and all that management sh*t was already taken care of!"

Rex Ryan (Jets) 9.00

Pat Shurmur (Browns) 2.50

Mike Munchak (Titans) 13.00
Romeo Crennel (Chiefs) 3.00
Dennis Allen (Raiders) 26.00

Andy Reid (Eagles) 7.00
Jim Schwartz (Lions) 21.00
Greg Schiano (Buccaneers) 51.00
Ron Rivera (Panthers) 6.50

Some current odds on the coaches. I like Schwartz with those long odds. Detroit could fall apart this year and theres enough supposed talent in the roster that the coach will take the blame.

edit: Detroit might actually not win another game this season also.

Lower score = more likely to be fired?
I'm assuming since Schiano appears to be doing a good job.

its odds so yea.

Schiano is the type of bet they throw in the mix because anyone who would bet that is pretty much throwing money away.

I don't think the 2 favorites Shurmur and Crennel will be fired because it will be end of season clear outs. Its honestly a tricky bet as the NFL =/= NBA, NHL, Soccer etc when it comes to firing guys.

Shurmur might get another season to work with Weeden. Maybe.

New ownership, bad team, dead man walking.
