League Of Legends Catch All

Just about everything looks really good. I'm super happy they're reducing stats across the board. It should ease the power curve a bit. Some of the new items are really inventive and interesting. Though, for some reason, it looks like they are making DFG even more powerful than pre-nerf... They need to just remove that item from the game. It's always going to be useless on most and completely overpowered on a few champs, or just useless for everyone.

The best, most important change:

Movement Speed
Boots give 25 less movement speed across the board.
All champions have had their base movement speed increased by 25.

No more boots 3 pots on everyone every game.

That's really going to wreck the name of our lol-themed band: BOOTS THREE.

Specific AP jungler items is a good change, but a weird change. Jungle karthus returns.

the odd thing about DFG is that right about the same time as the recent nerf Morello posted on the forums that he actually campaigned to get the item removed entirely but was coerced to nerf it instead... and now it's getting a pretty significant buff. I AM NOT UNDERSTANDINK

Holy sh*t, mermaid lady looks awesome. Watch that video in Jow's link. Her bubble thing looks too strong. Needs a slower missle speed or something. And the range on that ult is nuts. Definitely buying Ariel upon release.

It'll be a whole new world.

Edit: wait, sh*t. That's not little mermaid.

Don't sweat it, man.

So, nunu ult lulu damage increase with a slow, a 3 person heal or damage and what sounds like an oriana stun. And all abilities speed up friendlies, so slow and speed up, damage and speed up, heal and speed up. I feel like she might get some big nerfs

...can someone translate this into English for me please?

I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got whosits and whatsits galore
You want thingamabobs? I got twenty.

Am I alone in seeing a theme of making everyone less durable and upping damage potential?

I thought there was already too much instagibbing going on.

Her ult does a large area of effect slow, she has an ability that increases an ally's damage. The descriptions sound similiar to moves supports already have, some good ones too. Interesting thing though, I wonder if her release week will see a ton of support pubbies or pubbies playing her in other roles.

Yeah, not to mention increase cost for armor. It almost sounds like they are trying to kill off the tank support meta. I don't see how a tank support can afford more expensive armor.

All of the tanks are great farmers obviously.

You mean like alistair shen amumu support?

Leona and Taric should be fine with their auras, usually dont get to solo tank items anyhow. Just Aegis and stuff.

Fuzz: I think they're trying to blow away a lot of the patterns that have been around for a while... e.g, the fact that most bruiser types can get away with itemizing defensively, especially with G/10s, because the stats provided by those items are so strong that they make up for the lack of raw damage by keeping them alive forever. I do wonder, though, how this is going to affect sustain champs, support and otherwise.

Speaking of supports, I'm really intrigued by the new Kage's Pick and its upgrade (Kage's Last Breath). Seems like you could build up a bunch of gold in a hurry with either of those, the GP mastery, and GP quints.

Im looking forward to a long night on the public beta environment to try stuff out.

And by that I mean waiting in the 4 hour queue playing Diablo 3

New support looks utterly sick in a really good way considering the season 3 changes.

I'm just worried her utility is too good it will make some of the other supports obsolete.

And, meh, i'll let others try the stuff out. I'm not old hat enough yet to go muckin around on public beta. Then i'll watch some pro streams and copy them like a good little boy for now:) lol.

I just think alot of the new stuff is really interesting and want to mess around with builds and the like. Mess around in the new jungle, build some unorthodox stuff. And I've found the community to be less...well...less like LoL.

Bunch of big names in the game just starting on Aphromoo's stream.

If what I am reading that armor becomes more costly, potentially reducing the purchasing of such items, would things like Amumu's ult become vastly superior for a carry to clean house when they can kill enemy champs much quicker now?

So am I reading this right for the GP/10 items, really a lot of items with the same passive. You will no longer be able to stack GP/10 passives? So Kage's + Philo Stone will not double your gold?

Also look at Lord Van Damme's Pillager. Is that a typo? Says HOG is still in the build.

Those champs are not having their survivability increased but damage dealers are becoming more powerful. And added protection is more expensive. With the change in jungling amumu and Ali might find jungling for the now more expensive defensive items difficult. I will see what the end result is, but I do think playing a tank will become more difficult.

The patch notes said HoG removed from Summoner's Rift.

I think the pillager is tt only, so hog is probably still on tt.

Ah, got it.

Athene's Unholy Grail
AP: 90→60

Rabadon's Deathcap
AP: 140→120
AP%: 30→25

Rod of Ages
Minor nerfs aplenty

My three most commonly built items. I am disappoint. I don't want token cost reductions; mages are already the easiest class to 6-item and many already struggle in the late game.

With Haunting Guise now being upgradeable, I anticipate a resurgence of lane dominance snowball mids.

Also, boots speed nerf was genius. And it seems they're really, really wanting to see more assassin characters in tournaments.

MR got nerfed across the board, so it's really not as bad as those values would indicate at first glance.
Plus, it's fine. Just build DFG on every caster now and do far more magic burst than ever before, despite the AP nerfs.

The Athene's nerf is a big one. it's not nearly the no-brainer buy on mids it used to be, especially with so many other items coming.

Haunting Guise nerf is a bit of a bummer too... small one, but HG was usually my second buy after Rabadon's for teams who refused to itemize MR.
