Sold! Oh wait, I don't even have a PS3 or controllers that would support the games...still sold on the concepts though.

Someone should think up of how to do iOS/Droid games that makes use of the bluetooth, accelerometer and touch screens found on such devices to do similar stuff.

Been there, done that.

Also, here's another GB article including interviews with Wilson and Sony peeps on the story behind the kickstarter.

Backed in a heartbeat. I had to talk myself down from the 18+ person version... J.S. Joust is just great. I really hope they hit the target, I want this game.

Ditto. This is worth it just for Joust, the rest if the games are just a bonus.

Backing when I get home. Do all these need Move?

I'm pretty sure that only Joust does. I watched videos on Hokra and BariBariBall and they were both being played with a 360 controller.

Really really want to get joust. I will be backing when I get home for that alone.

Yeah, also backed for JS Joust. Not sure if I should get the PS3 or home computer version though. Seems like the game would be ideal with a Mac laptop of some sort, but all I have is either my PS3 or PC (with no current Bluetooth connectivity). May get the computer bundle and borrow someone's Macbook. Already have a couple of Move controllers and would gladly pick up a few more for this.

iBeg, a game about simulated homeless life in Vancouver.
A portion of in-app purchases goes to local charities to help the homeless.
They have 8 hours left to get another $1000. I met the developers at a local meetup and they are super passionate about the game. It would really suck to see these guys fall a little short of their goal.

I can't wait for the black friday deals on move controllers.

Did this one get posted?

A really interesting RPG engine somewhat like NWN(?)
Intersting that it's physics based. I can't decide if this is a strength or a downfal.
The video is more or less a tech demo.

It was linked over at the Bioware NWN forums.
If there were truly a successor to NWN, I'd be donating.
How do you guys decide if one is donation worthy?

It did, but it's still interesting.

Just backed Distance, which was mentioned here before. Only a couple of days left with another $23k+ to go. Hopefully the mention on RPS will get a bunch more people to look at it.

Back from vacation and just backed this. It's got a long way to go in 28 days ($114k). Really hope it makes it. If it does, we'll have JS Joust set up permanently at Ravenwood as soon as the alpha is released.

An RPG inspired by Lev Grossman's 'The Magicians', designed to teach Korean

Backed at the PDF level. Probably will never play but I'm interested in studying the system.

This one is a bit later only 3 days to go but would like to see it get funded.

Desktop Gremlins Art Book

I have had one of his papercraft gremlins on my desk ofr a couple of years now. They are cute and fun.

A Zelda-ish game incorporated into a running/exercise app - Runners Grinders

Some sort of PC game controller - Wasdio
It's a... joystick? Is WASD really that non-intuitive?

And another game from the Fallen London team - Below
I backed their last Kickstarter, it's out, and I haven't even looked at it...

Can I continue to Female Doggo about Tom vs. Bruce in this thread? Okay, well, I'm stilled pissed about the whole ordeal. The results have been completely lackluster and I think they were way overpaid when they did the articles before.

Sad.

Lost my Kickstarter virginity to Sportsfriends. $30 for Alpha level. I'm a sucker for the SmashBros-like action that BariBariBall reembodies.

Looks like it could be an excellent product. Its ambidextrous! That is a big deal for me since I use the mouse with my left and and many games and gaming peripherals ignore left handed gamers.

Speaking again of Sui Generis - they've added a video of multiple combatants, a brief section of the toolset and map creation. I also think the animations look better in this one so if they manage to fund and hire a proper animator I can imagine they'll look 90% fine considering it's a pseudo dynamic interaction with the physics engine.

I... Um. Hunh. Somewhat tempting, but not quite. If I could order one to give to my sister this Christmas, it would be an insta-buy. As a kickstarter? Not so much.

Apparently sir, you have never seen Tangled!

That handle would be bumping into everything. Would rather have a great functional pan instead.

That's a thing alright.

Or have I seen it many, many, MANY times with my five year-old daughter?

What the sh*t?

I don't think they're going to hit their goal.

Ouch.
