I have their great little, but the async multi is calling me.

Steal my thunder why don't you :O You know I need the post counts. Anyways, I'm going to pick it up myself. I love Async, it is like PBEM of the 21st century. I'm a slow turn taker at times, but feel free to friend me up ( if you are patient ).

At least I gave you credit for the finding

Spoiler:

And if you retort to this post, you'll get one more towards your 1,000

You guys are great, but I'm trying to get my post count up properly, not through cheap posts ( which this probably qualifies ).

So, to get back on track. I did pick up Great Big War Game, oh, and, umm, Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is on sale for $1.99 ( there, I feel better now )

You're ugly, and your mother dresses you funny!

I may be ugly but you're—oh wait. DAMMIT.

This just went to free town (for a limited time of ourselves).

I seem to remember it getting good reviews when it launched, might be worth grabbing if you didn't then (like myself)

Shellrazer is free all week and they just pushed out a new free update with 50% more levels as well as more weapons and enemies:

I heard good things about Shellrzazer, so I downloaded it, but for some reason the controls weren't clicking with me. On the iPhone, I feel that my fat(ish) fingers are covering up important parts, so it's also hard to see what is happening. It certainly has style though.

I haven't seen a post about Imperium Galactica 2 being on sale ($1.99) and getting retina support.

Yeah once you get to where you have three levels it is just unwieldy and due to the controls it became more frustrating than fun for me. It is pretty fun for that first hour or so until you get to that point.

How is it? Looks neat!

One of the best spacey games ever, now on the iPad. I've heard it's Veloxi's favorite 4X space game ever!

So a friend showed me Symphonica because he knows I like music games, and it's damn good : o

I'm not a fan of the whole japanese cartoon thing but it's a fun rhythm game with Classical music which is pretty hard to find. It's "Pay to unlock" so you can play a few levels for free. Very fun.

It's also out for iphone but I think it plays much better on the iPad for some reason.

I grabbed it. I figured for $2, how could I not give it a whirl.

Anyone looking for some FF TD, the below may be of interest to you. I grabbed this on the 360 a while back and enjoyed what I played, but I think like with most TD, I'll enjoy it more on the portable.

AppShopper is pleased to alert you of a Wish List Price Drop ($7.99 -> $3.99) for the “CRYSTAL DEFENDERS for iPad” App.

Just as an FYI, something seems to be wrong with Kingdom Rush, at least as far as reinstalling it from the App Store goes. As far as I can tell they are working on a fix.

Wow, that's like the 5th or 6th game on iOS from Square-Enix in the last month or two.

I find a lot of stuff plays much better on the iPad than iPhone. Or at least anything that's universal.

I put in some time on the PSP version. $4 is probably an appropriate price. It's not bad but it's by the numbers.

I am playing Symphonica for a while now and I have to say that the musical parts are really great. The interwoven Japanese manga-style unskippable story parts are terrible though. The music choice is basically "best of classics" so it is really enjoyable.

Anyone I'm playing Letterpress with:

If I win, I'll wait for you guys to send a repeat to play, that way you get the first pick on the letters - seems only fair (and it gives you the option to bow out if you've had enough playing it).

Anyone I'm not playing with, why not?

I am really enjoying the game. I wish there was more stat tracking or some persistence, but it's lots of fun.

Speaking of Letterpress, does anyone else have trouble with updating? When my wife and I play a game and I play a turn she can see in the game that it's her turn. When she plays a turn and I look at my game it doesn't update and I have to close the app and reopen for it to show that it's my turn to play. Any ideas?

I like reading the 'used word' list at the end of the game and pretending it it is a McElroy Madlib.

Sorry padriec, haven't experienced that delay myself. It's not getting confused between a wifi sync and an online sync is it (if that is even an option)?

I don't have that problem, but mine shows that there's always one unplayed turn, but when I open the app there are no games that are my turn. Not a huge deal, though.

Puzzle Craft is free today.

And with the gift of sharing, you also slide from junior to full blown executive.

Yeah the "story" is just awful :s

Once you've unlocked everything you can just play the songs at least, and that's allright, I even found a couple of classics I'd never heard or never really appreciated, great stuff.

Letterpress 1.1 is out now. The patch notes are amusing.

I thought so too. On the plus "rematch" button! WooHoo!

EDIT:
I just made the word "boobs"... Now I'm giggling like an idiot.

Tamron, I think we're both showing remarkable restraint by not dropping the 'c' bomb in our game

So many Ts and Cs together, it's ridiculous!
